The heroes are on TV celebrating their Victory against an Akuma. Chat Noir put her arm over Kitsune. Kitsune being Kitsune, teleports, leaving Chat Noir to nearly fall on Ladybug. Ladybug glares at Chat Noir as she used her head to catch herself.
" Jean Duparc was Akumatized by the very menacing Magician of Misfortune, threatening to make the Eiffel Tower vanish in a puff of smoke."
We see (Y/N) leaving an Alleyway a block away from the school. (Y/N) sprints to school as he is late for class.
(Y/N) runs to science class. He opens the door and enters the classroom before catching his breath. As Ms. Mendeleiev is about to scold him, Marinette trips and falls on him from behind, knocking them both to the floor.
" Marinette and (Y/N). What excuse do you both have this time? Accidentally locked yourselves in the bathroom again?" (Y/N) recalls Marinette using that excuse when they both showed up late at the same time. What a fun day that was explaining to his Mother.
Marinette jumps to her feet.
" Uh, no! Of course not. We had to help a black cat cross the road!" (Y/N) just stares at Marinette in disbelief. (Y/N) wished he could disappear on command.
As Ms. Mendeleiev is about to scold Marinette and (Y/N), she smells someone spraying perfume. She looks up to see the culprit, Rose.
" Thank you, Rose. But I don't think our classroom needs extra refreshing." As Ms. Mendeleiev is walking away, (Y/N) elbows Marinette softly. Marinette glares at (Y/N).
" Next time, you come up with something better," Marinette whispered.
" Anything was better than that. Even the bathroom excuse would have been better," (Y/N) whispered.
" I thought someone packed a tuna fish sandwich, but it turns out that it's Rose's perfume," Chloe said. (Y/N) groans, today was going to be another off day.
Marinette and (Y/N) sneak to their seats. Alya gives Marinette a look.
" Helping a cat cross the road?" Alya asked with an eyebrow raised.
" It's the only thing that came to mind," Marinette said in her defense. Nathaniel was not any different.
" So, this cat. How slow was it?" Nathaniel asked.
" I will throw your book out the window," (Y/N) warned, annoyed. Nathaniel just chuckles before smirking.
" You guys trying to hide your kissing session?" Nathaniel teased. (Y/N) goes for Nathaniel's book but Nathaniel keeps it out of reach.
Ms. Mendeleiev held out her hand, asking for the perfume bottle. Rose hands it over.
" Furthermore, using your smartphone during school hours is strictly forbidden." Rose hands over her phone as well.
" Take the rest of your things and go to the principal's office," Ms. Mendeleieve said. Rose gets upset, she never gets sent to the principal's office. Ms. Mendeleive turns around to see Nathaniel and (Y/N) wrestling on the floor for a sketchbook.
" (Y/N) AND NATHANIEL!" The two friends are back in their seats instantly. They act as if they weren't wrestling on the floor seconds ago. Nathaniel is drawing in his sketchbook. (Y/N) is reading a book, upside down. The professor just shakes her head.
