" I always add cream to the chocolate to make the ganache velvety. Then I let it infuse for one minute." Marinette's father, Tom, was giving the class a pastry lesson.
(Y/N) observes, absorbing all the information. Even if his baking was good, it could be better. He could make delicious treats for both Chat Noir and Juleka!
(Y/N) shakes his head, where did that come from? Maybe he needs more sleep, yea that was it.
" Hey (Y/N)." (Y/N) looks at Juleka, who tapped on his shoulder.
" Yea, Jul?" Juleka smiles, loving the nickname (Y/N) gave her. Juleka takes a deep breath before asking (Y/N). " Can you teach me to bake?"
(Y/N) was surprised. Juleka wanted lessons from him? She could ask Marinette. She was the better baker. (Y/N) was the better cook.
" Marinette would be the better choice." Kurama sighed silently. He was about to shock his wielder. Screw the consequences.
" I already asked. She said she was busy today." Juleka was lying, but it's not like (Y/N) would find out.
"Well..." Y/N was about to decline since he had plans to train tonight. However, fate had other intentions, or should he say, Nathaniel.
" (Y/N), you going to reject her. That's not the (Y/N) I know." (Y/N) groans at his friend, why did he always talk at the worst times?
" Nathaniel, I will break those eggs over your head." Nathaniel chuckled. (Y/N) was easily embarrassed.
" We both know you're doing nothing later. You finished all your work earlier today." Juleka saw Nathaniel give her a nod. Juleka smiled and nodded back. Seems Nathaniel is going to help her.
" I am... going to study..." Nathaniel knows that's a lie. Last time he caught (Y/N) studying. (Y/N) was reading his light novel.
" Juleka, just drag him to your house." Nathaniel manages to avoid a playful swipe from his friend.
" Please (Y/N)." (Y/N) looks at Juleka, who was pouting. (Y/N) sighs, accepting defeat.
" Fine, we can meet up later." Juleka beams in happiness.
All of a sudden, the school Alarm starts blaring. Ms. Bustier starts instructing the class to leave the class. (Y/N) I can't help but feel something is going to happen.
(Courtyard)
All classes were now in trouble.
" So, some smart aleck had the bright idea of calling the fire department." Everyone gasps at Mr. Damocles's discovery.
" Someone among us thought it would be funny to waste the fire captain's valuable time." The Fire captain tries to end things quickly but Mr. Democles doesn't let him talk.
" Hold on. I want the guilty party to apologize to you." (Y/N) looks around before his eyes land on Chloe.
" For crying out loud," (Y/N) whispered to himself. Juleka pats (Y/N), knowing his pain. Chloe can be difficult to deal with.
Chloe decided to open her mouth. " Mr. Damocles, sir? I saw a student leaving the classroom right before the alarm went off. It must have been her," Chloe said with a smirk.
" Really? Who was it." Chloe's eyes immediately dart to Marinette.
" Let's see if she'll come clean. What do you say, Marinette Dupain-Cheng?" Gaps erupt in the crowd.
