"Many centuries ago, magic jewels bestowing extraordinary powers were created. These were the Miraculous. Throughout history, heroes have used these jewels for the good of the human race. Two of these Miraculous are more powerful than the others. The earring of the Ladybug, which provides the power of creation, and the ring of the Black Cat, which grants the power of destruction. According to legend, whoever controls both these jewels at the same time will achieve absolute power. Seeing the danger should a rogue Miraculous wielder ever want to unify both Miraculous. One Miraculous was given a single task, Hunting down rogue Miraculous users. The Bracelet of the Kyuubi, which grants the user control over the elements of Fire, Wind, Earth, Water, and Lightning, allows the user to sense Negative Emotions, teleportation, and two more abilities but these are unknown because everything about them was erased from history."
A small floating creature is seen in a large room talking with a man hidden in the shadows.

"I want that absolute power, Nooroo. I must have those Miraculous."
"But nobody knows where these Miraculous are. Especially the Kyuubi since the last user went rogue themselves and it took almost all Miraculous wielders to stop them. Most of them lost their lives, so the Kyuubi Miraculous was never given to a new wielder in fear that they would go rogue." Nooroo explained.
"I found you, though, my little Nooroo. You're Miraculous, remind me of its powers again." The Shadow man asked.
"The Moth brooch allows you to give someone their own superpowers and to make that person your devoted follower," Nooroo explained.
"And when it comes to luring superheroes, what could be better than creating supervillains?"
"But, Master, the Miraculous are not meant to be used for evil purposes," Nooroo explained, hoping to change his wielder's mind.
"I must have this absolute power! Your Miraculous is in my control! I am your master now! And you must obey me." Nooroo bows his head, upset knowing he can't do anything.
"Yes, Master." The Shadow man put on the brooch.
" Nooroo, dark wings rise." Butterflies cover the man and Nooroo is absorbed into the Miraculous.
"From this day on, I shall be known as Hawk Moth." The shadow man reveals himself before laughing evilly.
