Pidge Holt, The Green Paladin. She's known across the universe as the brightest scientist of today. She has revolutionized the world of tech ten times over and everyone believes she will continue to do so.
Hunk Grant, the Yellow Paladin. Renowned Chef and diplomatic leader. He Led the Voltron alliance with the help of an old friend.
Keith Kogane, The Red Paladin. Second in command In the Blade of Marmora. Helping all those in need. A local hero and a hero to the universe.
Lance McClain. He had been a teacher on Altea for a good while now. But nobody had heard from him. Most think he has retired to live with his large family. And who could blame him after fighting in such a large war?Sweet scents, vibrant colors, tall, tall flowers. Or perhaps she was just tiny; she mused as she wandered through the forest of stems underneath the colorful canopy. It was quiet, no sounds besides the soft whispers of the wind and the sound of her each step atop the soft soil that seemed to welcome her further into its dwelling.
"Pidge!"
She turned to look for who called her only to discover she couldn't move her feat. She now stood ankles deep in the soil and she was beginning to sink faster.
"No- No let me go!" She struggled against the grip the ground had on her. With every movement she sunk further.
"Pidge!"
the voice echoed in her head. Her heart raced faster as she tried to dig herself out. The more she dug, the more she struggled, the further into the ground she sank. Right when her arms were about to go under roots from the thick of the forest of flowers came shooting towards her. She grabbed on and the roots pulled her out, but they didn't stop when she was free. No, they dragged her along until she was standing in front of the green lion.
"Woah.."
Their eyes locked and the green lion's eyes glowed brightly with power. With a loud roar it shook Pidge causing her to gasp awake.
"Pidge?"
"HUh! wha-? I'm awake!" she stammered rubbing her eyes before fixing her glasses realizing she had fallen asleep at her work desk. Matt laughed softly, shaking his head.
"Finish up whatever you're working on Pidge, you're gonna be late for your Voltron reunion."
"Oh yeah!"
Food. Everywhere. He trudged through a swamp of what was really chocolate sauce. "So.. much.. chocolate."
He fell into the depths only for him to land in clouds of cotton candy. "So- pretty!" He murmured sleepily.
The cloud set him down on a path made of sugar wafers. The path wound its way up a hill. A wishing well at the top. He was admiring the well. Muttering about what he could wish for."Hunk!"
"Huh?" He turned to see what had called him, only to trip and fall into the well.
He yelled for help as he tumbled further and further into the darkness. His eyes squeezed shut in fear but it did nothing to calm his nerves.
A loud roar echoed around his head, urging his eyes to open.
He obliged, opening his eyes to see the yellow lion standing before him proudly. Their eyes met as the lion's eyes began to glow."Woah.."
With another loud roar Hunk found him awaking in his bed. "What the hey..?"
Soaring through the sky, teammates by his side. Not a care in the world as they flew through space. He found himself laughing out loud as he led his team through twists and turns.
"Keith!"
He turned losing his focus. Accidentally leading his team into danger. He put all his effort into protecting his team. But he couldn't protect himself and instead he tumbled down to the ground.
He found himself surrounded by shadowy monsters. His breath grew heavy as he tried to fight but he was outnumbered. Every slash of his sword was met with a strike from vicious claws. His only option was to try too escape. Making his way up a steep hill he fought the creatures back. He winced in pain as a monster managed to gash his shoulder."Keith!"
He looked up to see the black lion flying to his rescue. The monsters melted away from the light of the lion's glowing eyes. With a loud roar Keith found himself waking up in the back of his Blade of Marmora ship.
"You alright back there?" Acxa asks from the pilot's chair.
"Yeah.. yeah I'm okay." Keith says sitting up and taking a breath.
"Good cause we've almost reached base. Then you have a transport to Altea to catch." she says.
"Right." Keith glanced out the window watching the stars go by.
The waves slowly crashed against the beach before slowly pulling away once again an endless rhythmic cycle. He stood there in the warm sand breathing in cool ocean air. Calm, relaxed, everything was perfect.
"Lance!"
He turned to see who called him but no one stood there. Weird.
"Lance!"
The voice repeated. Again he turned and again he saw nothing but the beach he stood upon. He yelped in pain as the ground began to grow hot. Looking down he realized the sand had been set ablaze. He began to run but wherever he went the flame followed. Lance heaved for air as he was surrounded by the red glow of fire. The fear melted away as he looked up to see the red lion suspended in the air. Its eyes looked with his, glowing with a knowing presence. It roared.
"LANCE!!"
"AHH!" he yelped, sitting up quickly.
"Your alarm has been going off for 15 minutes!" his mothers tone was a mixture of affection and annoyance.
"Sorry Ma-" He yawned, reaching out to silence the constant beeping.
"Now hurry up! You're going to miss the ship too Altea and then you'll be late."
"Huh? Oh shi-!"
"watch your mouth!" She cuts him off my hitting him with the towel that had been over her shoulder.
"Ack! Hey!" Lance rubbed the top of his head.
"Less talking, more getting ready, breakfast will be waiting for you out here." Mrs. McClain said as she walked out of his room.
Lance sighs as he stands to get ready. The calendar mounted on the wall caught his eye. It had been two years now.. Why did the feelings still feel like it had just happened? Everyone else seemed to have moved on. Why couldn't he?
