Voltron: Return of the Lions

The Castle of Lion's 2.0 pt 1

Everyone stared in wonder. Before them stood the all too familiar ship, the ship where they spent years together fighting to protect the universe.

"Is this real??" Hunk exclaimed

"It can't be.." Shiro breathed.

"Surprise!!" Coran beamed proudly. The ship powered on as if on cue. Bright blue shimmering lights exactly the same as the ship they had sacrificed.

"No way.." Keith muttered in amazement.

"This is unbelievable!!" Shiro was in shock.

"It's like the.. CASTLE OF LIONS 2.0!!" Lance says dramatically.

"Oh I like that! that's a brilliant name for it Lance!"

"Coran it looks exactly the same!!" Pidge says.

"Oh You say that now! Just wait until you get inside!" Coran leads everyone to the front door of the castle.

It was as if they were walking into the past. The lights slowly turned on as they made their way though the ship just as they had when they found the castle on Arus.

The soft white walls, the gray floors, the blue lighting, the large windows. Everything was perfect.

"And here's the common room!" Coran says, leading the others inside.

"Now way!" Everyone ran to sit on the sunken couch.

"Oh that's perfect." Hunk says leaning back.

"It's just like I remember!" Pidge says sitting crisscrossed.

"I missed you, couch!!" Lance says lounging dramatically on leg up on the back of the couch.

"I can't believe how everything is the same Coran. It's like walking through a memory." Keith says

"Woah- someone take up writing poetry?" Hunk jokes.

"Wouldn't surprise me Keith used to write poetry all the time."

"Shiro!" Keith says indignantly.

"What?? Some of it was actually really good." Shiro says, being as supportive as ever.

"Wow and I thought you were emo before." Lance teased.

"Yeah well you can't really blame me, I got a lot of it from Shiro." Keith huffed.

"By that you mean you stole my nail polish and eyeliner whenever you got the chance." Shiro gave him a look.

"I was bored!"

GASP

Everyone turned to look at Hunk Quizzically.

"Guys- I just realized that, if this is an exact copy of the castle of lions.."

"With New and Improved Upgrades!" Corran interjects

"Right, yes, thank you Corran. That means not only do we have our old rooms... But we have the kitchen!!! I'm going to start cooking right now!"

"That's a great idea! I'll come and help." Shiro says as he stands up. "Maybe we can all pitch in, family style"

It didn't take long for everyone to be in the kitchen following Hunk's lead. Keith was good at knife work but not much else. Pidge helped with everything but the stove, she could be trusted in a lab but put them in a kitchen? That's a different story. Corran mostly helped find where things were and translated Altaen labels. Shiro was a bit lost but was as helpful as he could be. Lance was really the only one who could keep up with Hunk; Mama McClain taught him well after all. But, No matter how helpful or unhelpful someone was, they were all laughing and joking about having a good time all together.
