Dallas did in fact keep his word. I was staring at him standing outside my window. I wasn't truly sure if I wanted to let him in or not. He had his hands in his hips, head tilted, and eyebrow raised. He looked very sassy and I wasn't sure if I wanted that to go away.

He got more impatient and started lightly tapping on my window. I got up to go lock the door and unlock the window. I couldn't risk my brother walking in and seeing me with him. I wasn't sure if they were friends or not.

"You're so impatient," I laughed as he climbed through my window.

"You're so slow." It was around 3 p.m. and I was still tired. I had taken a nap for about 2 hours before I woke up. I did feel better but I didn't feel great to begin with. He just kept staring at me and looking around my room.

Dallas

She was something. Before the party I had been naggin' Johnny about her name. He wouldn't budge and neither would Pony. She was a good lookin' broad and a little fiery. She seemed like the type to be a goody two shoes. Once I saw her at that party my ideas were completely washed away.

She just stood there laughing with her friend. She looked good and before I left the gang I made sure no one was walking over. We ended up together that night but she left before I woke up.

I wasn't sure what I was expecting coming here. It surprised me to see that she didn't care that I was there. I usually had girls all over me and it was great. She was one of the best looking ones by far and that drew me closer.

There was suddenly a knock on the door causing her eyes to turn into saucers as she told them to give her a second. She shoved me in her closet which smelled like coconut.

"What do you want," she asked with a harsh tone. I wasn't sure who it was yet but she sounded annoyed.

"Mom wants you to come down and eat something." It was her brother. When I had met him it hadn't clicked that they were siblings until she said so. They didn't look much alike with almost contrasting features. She had light brown hair, tanned skin, and brown eyes while he had lightly tanned skin, dirty blonde hair, and green eyes.

"Tell her to give me 5 minutes please." She started out a little quiet when I met her but now she was a whole new person. It could've been the night that made her like that. I liker her more outgoing as it benefited me too.

"Ok." The door shut and I was allowed out of her closet. She looked annoyed, tired, and hungry all with the same expression.

"In 5 minutes you will either choose to crawl out my window of stay in my closet to wait for me to come back." I knew what I wanted to do.

Sitting in that closet for maybe 30 minutes felt more like 30 days. She left before she knew what I was gonna choose so when she walked back in she jumped out of her skin when she saw me.

"That's the third time!"

"So you're counting? Im flattered."

"You shouldn't be it's a bad thing." I frowned a little and walked closer until my body was a few inches away from her.

"How so?" She was still calm and her demeanor hadn't changed.

"I don't know, it just is." She was a few inches shorter than me causing her to look up. Her eyelashes were coated in mascara while her eyes were a light brown.

"I have work today you know?"

"When?" I slid my arm around her waist pulling her in as she muttered a quiet '8'. That meant I still had 4 hours until she had to leave. Which meant I could take her somewhere.

"How 'bout we go somewhere doll?"

"Where would you take me?"

"Wherever the road takes us."

"Why should I trust you?" She had a small smile on her face, resting her head on my chest. She had a scar on her jawline. It was light, like it had been fading for a few years.

"Where'd you get that scar?" She looked spooked, like I had just told her something that scared her.

"Nothing you need to worry about, Cam left how about we go downstairs. No ones home anymore." Her offer was too good to resist. I was hungry and wanted to see the place she lived.

As I followed her I saw few pictures of her family. She sat up on the counter her legs swinging back and forth. She was captivating, like something was making me come back for more. It was different than what I was used to.

I usually slept with them and never really saw them after that. I wanted to see her this time. I wasn't sure why but I couldn't help myself.

I slowly walked over to her, standing in a position so familiar to a few nights before. This time felt different. Before it was just for her thumb, and now it was our own desire.

"If we're gonna be friends I have some rules," she said pushing me back a little bit. She looked fine but her eyes had a hint of something.

"Ok."

"Number one, strictly friends. Nothing less nothing more got it?"

"Works for me." I walked over to stand next to her instead of in front.

"Number two, try not to drag me into too much trouble."

"It hurts that you think of me that way," I said placing a hand over my heart and batting my eyelashes. She laughed lightly, a sound I couldn't seem to get enough of.

"But i'm serious about these rules you know."

"I know, now let me take you somewhere."

"Again, where would we go?" She got up off the counter to stand by the window. The hues of the sky reflected on her skin.

"Can I surprise you?"

"Is it legal?"

"Yea, but you tell anyone we went your dead."

"Yes sir," she said with a solute as she walked put the door. I started leading her towards a place Johnny had showed me once. She let out a quiet gasp as she looked in awe of the sunset.

We were on a grassy hill a bit away from the tracks. She took a seat and I followed suit.

"Dallas, it's beautiful."

"Can't you call me Dally at this point?"

"I'll think about."

A playful smile on her face as she watched the sun slowly be engulfed by the hills.
