up at the broken ceiling fan. The cracks in his ceiling revealing the wooden patterns in the roof. He thought about the interaction that he had with Willow. She was effortlessly beautiful, and those kinds of girls were difficult to find in Tulsa— because it wasn't just about her exterior, but her interior as well. She didn't judge him or the others because they were Greasers. She couldn't care less what class they were from, she only cared about who they were as people. Johnny believed it was why she moved past Dallas so fast, because even though there was something attractive about him to her, she simply looked past him after she realised who he was. Dally had a distinct face and voice, and even though she hadn't ever met him before, many had talked about an attractive boy from New York who was nothing but trouble. He wasn't difficult to miss.

But what made him blush the most was the fact that she talked directly to him. Girls would always looked past him as he was always the quiet, shy one of the group. He also didn't believe that he was much of a looker, so when she sent him that wink with that smile, it was hard to suppress the butterflies that he was feeling.

Suddenly, Johnny's bedroom door swung open to reveal his very drunk and dazed mother. "What are you doing?" She groaned, her eyes practically rolling back into her head as she was on the verge of passing out.

"I-I don't know.." Johnny mumbled, now sitting up and sitting on the edge of his bed. He began to quickly slip on his shoes as he knew where this was going to go, and he wanted to be ready for whatever was about to come.

"Get out" she sneered before slamming the door, causing Johnny to flinch. He sighed, tying his shoe laces before standing up and opening his broken window that was covered up with cardboard. He jumped out onto the grass, quickly making his way out of his yard before making his way over to the Curtis home. As he walked down the streets of Tulsa with his hands in the pockets of his jeans, he heard the noise of wheels moving behind him, but it wasn't a car.

He looked up to see Willow skating down the centre of the road, not caring what was in front or behind her. As she looked around, about to turn the corner, she spotted Johnny walking down the street. "Johnny!" She smiled, quickly skating toward him. He smiled at the fact that she remembered his name, and better yet, that she wanted to talk to him. "Hey, how are you?" She asked, skating slowly along side him. He looked down at her red roller skates, the leather somewhat ripped and dirty whilst her wheels were run down and on the verge of repair. She looked down at her shoes, chuckling to herself.

"I know.. I should probably get new ones but.. I just love the color of these yknow?" she smiled, looking back up at him, noticing his shy demeanour. She thought that it was cute how shy he was, not to mention that she found him attractive.

"I like 'em" He shrugged, pulling out a pack of cigarettes from his back pocket. Without skipping a beat, Willow pulled out a lighter from her back pocket that was in the shape of a cowboy boot. She held it up to the end of Johnny's cancer stick, causing smoke to
immediately appear that smelt of nicotine and fire. "Thanks" he smiled at her as they continued to walk down the street. "Wait.." Johnny stopped once again, "Why you in Greaser territory? ain't it dangerous for you here?"
