Sanha's POV Currently, I find myself in the hospital, anxiously waiting to meet the recipient of my late girlfriend Mia's heart. Just last week, she tragically passed away in a car accident. Mia was an organ donor, and her selfless act has given several individuals a second chance at life. However, it has been incredibly difficult for me, especially since we have a 3-month-old son together. He has been crying a lot since she's been gone, and it breaks my heart knowing there's nothing I can do to comfort him. He's used to falling asleep on Mia's chest, but now he's at home with our friend Jinwoo. As I sit in the waiting room, the girl who received Mia's heart has expressed a desire to meet me. After some time, a doctor approaches me.
Doctor - Are you ready???
I nod and follow her to a room. When she opens the door, I see the recipient sitting up in bed, smiling at me.
Recipient - Hi, I'm Yn.
Me - I'm Sanha.
The doctor leaves us alone, and I take a seat next to Yn's bed as she continues to smile warmly at me.
Me - It's nice to meet you, but I'm curious, what made you want to meet me???
Yn - I wanted to thank you and express my condolences for your loss. A nurse broke the rules and told me about Mia's newborn son. I feel terrible.
I shake my head.
Me - Please don't blame yourself. It wasn't your fault at all. I'm just glad that Mia was able to help you.
Yn nods and then holds up a stethoscope.
Yn - Would you like to hear her heartbeat again???
I nod eagerly and quickly put on the stethoscope, placing it on Yn's chest. As I hear Mia's heartbeat, I can't help but cry. Yn gently rubs my head, and I let all my emotions pour out...
