In the quietude of her creative space, Castle delved into writing her next best-seller crime novel, drawing inspiration from the brilliant yet complex Dr. Spencer Reid. However, as she delved deeper into the intricate world of profiling she realized she needed more insigh. Instinctively, she made an important call.

Adrienne decided to head to Quantico to propose an offer to the head of the BAU. She passionately explained her proposal. "My connections with high-profile figures can bring excellent press for the BAU. My dear ex-boyfriend is a political figure, and the President is a big fan of my work; I am close to most big names in the country."

Strauss, attempting to maintain order, tried to turn her down. "This isn't how we operate. We can't have civilians interfering with our investigations."
Undeterred, Adrienne pressed on, "I only want to do research. Dr. Reid's mind is fascinating, besides we already proven that my insights can be valuable. Think of the positive impact on public perception."
Hotch, skeptical, questioned the potential disruption to the team. Strauss added, "This is not a playground for young reckless untrained novelists."
As the debate over Adrienne's involvement with the BAU lingered, the room suddenly hushed as Strauss received a call. Answering it, she listened intently, her expression changing from confusion to surprise.
The voice on the other end resonated with authority after announcing who was speaking. The call was directly from the White House. The voice declared. "Chief Strauss, we've been informed about Castle's proposal to assist the BAU. I believe it could be beneficial for both parties. Make it happen."
Strauss looking at Hotch, realized she had no choice but to accept that a 25-year-old had overpowered her. "Understood," she said, hanging up the phone.

Hotch decided to gather everyone in the bullpen. Once everyone sat in their respective seats and showed their intrigued glances, he dropped the bomb, "Apparently, Reid has got a fan." He proceeded to explain that Castle was working on a new novel featuring a lead character – a genius, good-looking, savvy, young male agent. The room filled with playful banter, and Spencer, confused, could only muster, "I'm flattered?"
