Hotch ushered Adrienne into his office, introducing himself and apologizing for the FBI's intrusion on her party. Unfazed, she quipped, "I'm more entertained here, Agent Hotchner."
Cutting to the chase, Hotch asked for permission to check her fan mail and keep an eye on her until the copycat killer was caught. She agreed but swiftly offered her assistance with the investigation, asserting, "I am the obsession; I might be able to find the killer's motive." hesitated, but Adrienne's persuasive charm won him over.

Shortly after, Hotch gathered the team, faces filled with surprise as he informed them, "Castle will be acting as a consultant for the case, but she stays off the field."
The team erupted into discussions and questions. Emily Prentiss was the first to speak with a laugh of mockery in her voice, "You are kidding?"
Hotch sighed and calmly explained, "She offered her expertise, and I think she could be an asset."
Meanwhile, a now speechless Spencer Reid opened his mouth in disbelief as he processed what Hotch had just said. Instantly, his interaction with Castle in the interrogation room rekindled his annoyance.
To his demise, the door swung open, Adrienne strolled into the room, transformed. Gone was the party dress; she now wore a more professional attire, a keen smile on her face.
"Ready to catch a killer?" she teased, injecting a burst of energy into the room. The team exchanged glances, unsure of what to expect with the unconventional addition to their investigative ensemble.
Rossi couldn't resist a quip, "Well, looks like I'm not the only best-selling author in the room anymore."
JJ added with a smirk towards Emily's ear, "She will get bored in the first five minutes." Emily laughed
