Once everything was set, laughter and conversation filled the room as the team gathered around her poker table. Everyone had their initial poker chips along with their drinks and snacks. Atlas and Alek also joined the lively group after helping Adrienne welcome the guests.

"Alright, everyone, welcome to Castle's Poker Palace. Prepare to be dazzled." she said trying to sound like a Vegas showgirl. Everyone laughed, already used to her witticisms.

Reid, confident in his skills, asked, "More tricks up your sleeve, Castle?

Adrienne, shuffling the deck with a mischievous glint in her eyes, replied, "Lets see what kind of man you are Dr. Reid."

"Careful, Castle. We've got a poker expert in the house." before Morgan could continue, Rossi interrupted making everyone smile, "No need to brag, I'm quite decent."

"Jokes aside, do you know he is banned from most casinos in Las Vegas right?" JJ said while pointing at Reid who was next to her. He simply, shrugged and looked straight, directly to her.

"Lucky for me, I was trained in clandestine bars by mob bosses." Castle stated while she challenged Reid with her gaze, but stopped when she noticed Hotch directly looking at her for confessing a felony. "I mean... I researched illegal poker strategies for Storm Front" she excused herself.

"Don't worry Castle, some of us have occasionally defeated Mr. Genius" Emily stated proudly. "Brava Agent Prentiss, my bets are on you tonight" said Atlas while checking her out.

"C'mon" breathed out Alek after witnessing his sister and father flirting with the FBI in front of him.

As they started spreading the cards, the conversation shifted to Adrienne's upcoming book release. Rossi asked, "Nervous about Storm Fall's release Castle?"

Adrienne, shuffling the deck with a confident grin, replied, "Not nervous, excited. I hope the fans embrace the end of the Storm era and welcome the new one."

Alek chimed in, "Speaking of the new era? Any new details on Dr. Reid's character? Perhaps the name?"

Adrienne teased, "Actually the manuscript is almost done, but I don't want to jinx it. I'll reveal everything once I fact check it."
