I get my things together in my bag so I can leave as soon as my work time is done, which is 5 pm today. My phone is fully recharged and full of messages from random people.

Oh, crap. He just left. Why does he even want to talk to me?
I leave the message unread as I lock my trailer's door and head to the exit, putting my headphones on.The street is pretty clear. Not much people around, and the ones who are walking here are probably working on set.
" Eileen? Where are you going? Do you have your parents' permission to leave without being accompanied?" I hear Michelle's voice inside of a car right behind me. Wait, nobody told me that I needed that. Luckily, I'm with my headphones on, so I just pretended I didn't hear her. Don't get me wrong. I actually feel kinda bad for doing this, but, you know, I don't want any of them actually getting too involved in my life. It never works.
I keep walking, mumbling any song that comes to my head so it looks more realistic. I don't dare to look back to check if she's still close. So, I'd like her to not see where I am going, in case she's still around here.
There's this cool trail that leads to the back of our apartment's backyard ( which it is poorly taken care of). Cars can't get through it, so if Michelle really cares , which I don't think she does, she would try to get here walking, but I doubt she's gonna do that.
I get to the backyard, dodging the long wet grass and mud so I can get into the building. It is not a big one. It has 4 floors, 2 apartments each. We live on the second floor.
As I get in, I can smell the mold of the place and feel the water dripping behind my back. Disgusting.
I open the door. Nobody's there yet, but mom. I mean, she's always here. Always.
I put my bag on the floor as I make my way to her room. "Mom? Are you feeling good?" I ask her, sitting by her side on the small bad she has."I'm good, honeymoon, but how was work? Did you enjoy it?" She was clearly in pain but smiling through it. " It was good, I guess, but I didn't have much to do. Hope tomorrow it will be better...but I'm not complaining, the salary's great and-" I'm interrupted by the noise of the school bus bringing my siblings back home. Mom smiles at me, signing me to go look after them.
"Ellie! You're not gonna believe in what I've done at school today!" Ava says excitedly. She really likes school. Her cheeks are red, probably from running around with her friends at school. "Ms. Norbury is teaching us how to read!" She's so cute with her big smile, reaching her ears. " Is it Avey? That is so cool!" I say, smiling at her as I lift her in my arms. Ava had just gotten into first grade, and she was over excited about it. "What about you, An?" Anthony looked kinda sad, which worries me. He's only 9. He's not supposed to live with those issues. "School was cool, I guess... We played soccer at lunch." He smiles at the last part." That's nice, buddy." I smile at him.
Ava was talking her heart out when I heard Mom calling me, so I left Anthony and Ava and hurried to the bedroom. " Mom, 'you good? Do you need anything?" She looks kinda worried, which makes me worried."Listen, baby, your father is coming. " As she says it, she keeps looking at the window. I listen to an old car's engine, so I get what she's talking about. "Now, you gotta get Avey and Ant and go somewhere else." No, not again. " B-but Mom, we just got here. And why is he here again?" I don't wanna leave." It's okay, Ellie. It's for like 2 hours, then you can come back. Take your siblings to a cafe or something so you can get your little heads out of it. " She handed me some money. I smile sadly at her and kiss her forehead before calling my siblings to go.
