"The names Harry." The taller lad says and Louis nods.

"'M Louis." He whispers shyly.

"You new?" Harry asks, "I know almost everyone in this school, have known them for the past three years, and I'd remember those amazing blue eyes."

Louis can't help but blush. He hasn't been complimented in...who knows how long.

He saw Jace snickering.

"You know he's just being nice." He says and Louis sighs.

A few moments pass in silence.

"So do you know where your classes are? Do you need help finding them?" Harry asks and Louis looks at his schedule. The lady at the office explained where his first class was but to be honest he was a bit lost.

"Um...I don't know where Mr. Richards class is." Louis says handing Harry the slip of paper.

"Oh! Mr. Richards! I have him too! Come on I'll walk you!" Harry says a bit over excitedly.

Harry takes off, and Louis has to basically run to keep up, Harry's legs seemed to go on for miles.

They walked through the halls, that were filled with teenagers rushing to their class before the tardy bell rang in two minutes.

Harry was talking about something, how he loved meeting new people and how happy this was the last year of school, and it took Louis a couple seconds to figure out he was being asked a question.

"Hmm?" He asks embarrassed.

"What school did you go to before you came here?" He asks and Louis stops walking. Harry turned to look at him.

"I, um...I..." He didn't know what to say.

"You don't have to tell me. Everyone has there own little secrets. Don't worry about it." He says with a smile, "Now come on. We don't wanna be late on our first day."

Louis nods and follows him through the corridors before they reach a door with students piling inside.

Louis instantly felt nervous. He hasn't been in a real classroom for three years.

"Don't chicken out now. Or on second thought, yeah chicken out so you can go back to that hospital. It's where you belong. You're not normal. You're a freak." Louis stood at the door, tears brimming at his eyes. He is a freak. He can't change who he is.

He might as well admit himself back into that hospital himself.

Harry noticed his uncertainty. He rested a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey its fine. Don't worry, you can sit next to me if you want." He assures him, and yeah, that makes him feel a bit better. He nods and leads the way inside.

Thankfully, Harry chooses two empty seats in the back of the room. Teenagers were laughing and greeting each other. Jace leaned against the wall behind Louis, glancing at everyone with a sort of boredom. The late bell rang and everyone sat down. Louis looked around and counted.

"Thirty-eight." He says aloud.

"What?" Harry asks, looking at him.

"Thirty-eight people in this room, including the teacher." He says nodding towards the balding man in the front, writing his name on a whiteboard.
