Louis walked out of the school cursing under his breath. Jace was rambling, Louis trying to block him out. He was crossing the school parking lot when he heard someone call his name. He turned and saw Harry waving at him, jogging to catch up.

"Hi." Harry mumbles a bit out of breath, "I thought I was supposed to give you a ride home." Shit, he forgot.

"Oh. Yeah." Harry leads him to his 2015 Toyota Camry. Louis liked the color. Red.

"My dad got it for me, for my birthday." Harry said and Louis nodded as he ran his hand over the hood. Harry opened the passenger door and Louis' cheeks turned crimson red.

"Thanks." The smaller lad whispers as he sits inside. Harry closes the door and jogs around the car, getting in the drivers side and turning on the car in record time.

"So, where do you live?"

"Oh...on Milton. It's only a few blocks from here." Harry pulled out of the parking lot and drove off. It's silent for a few minutes.

"Have you thought of what book we should read?" Harry asks. Louis shakes his head staring at the rearview mirror. Jace was sitting in the back seat.

"Just wait until you get home. He's going to see how weird you really are." Louis sighs. He's right.

They pulled up to Louis' house.

"This it?" Harry asks and Louis nods getting out, slinging his backpack over one shoulder. He walks ahead of the taller lad and unlocked the door.

"Mum?" Louis calls as Harry trails behind him. A woman with crazy brown hair pops her head out from the kitchen.

"Louis? You're home early--oh who's this? Is this Niall?" she asks, walking towards them with a smile.

"No. It's Harry. We have a..."

"Project." Harry finishes.

"Oh. Hi. I'm Louis' mum. But you can call me Jayy. Are you friends with Lou? I'm so glad to meet a friend of his." she rambles and Louis grins.

"Okay. Well we should go...upstairs." Louis says, gripping Harry by his arm.

"Uh, nice to meet you Jayy." Harry calls from the steps. Harry followed as Louis opened his bedroom door. Harry stops for a second. The room was so...bare. Like no one even lived here. The walls were a light blue. There were two dressers and an unmade twin bed.

"Um, I threw a lot of things out recently." Louis said referring to the fact that when he came home he basically cleared his room. He didn't like to be reminded of the past. Harry didn't answer. He awkwardly sat on the bed watching as Louis looked through a stack of books on his dresser.

"I got these when I was at the hospi-at um, my aunt's house." Louis stutters. The green eyed lad doesn't question him.

"What should we read?"

"I was thinking maybe...Perks of Being a Wallflower? Simple, short. And I already read it." Louis says and wow that was the most he's talked in a while.

"Can you choose a shittier book?" Jace asks and Louis' skin boils. He's been talking all day.

"Sounds great." Harry says, "Mind if I use the loo?" Louis points him in the direction of the bathroom and sits on his bed. Harry walks down the hall and into the bathroom.

The first thing he noticed were all the orange medicine bottles. He picked on up and glanced at it. Aripiprazole, prescribed for...Louis Tomlinson. Harry picked another bottle up. Antidepressant. For Louis. He picked up another. For Louis. Louis. Louis. Louis.

Everything was for Louis.

Harry put them down and swallowed thickly. He didn't like that he was snooping. He shouldn't be looking around. He knows it wrong.

He gets down on his knees and opens the cupboard under the sink. He finds random shampoos and toilet paper. He moves some stuff around before reaching around in the back. His hand clasps around a small zip lock bag.

He pulls it out.

Oh no. God no. Inside were an assortment of different blades. Box cutters, pencil sharpeners. Harry choked a bit when he noticed some had dry blood. He threw the bag back inside the cupboard and closed it quickly.

He stood up and did his business, washed his hands and headed out, his hands shaking.

He stopped right outside of Louis' bedroom door. At first Harry thought was on the phone.

"Why do you always ruin everything?"

There was no response.

"Shut up! Why won't you ever leave me alone?! Let me be normal! Please!" He was crying now. Harry heard his choked sobs from the other door.

Normal? What was wrong with him. He seemed fairly normal. Other than the fact that his words slurred sometimes and he got distracted, he was normal.

Harry creaked the door open. Louis turned to him with crazed eyes.

"I, can you give me a minute please?" He asks politely. Harry nods and closes the door. A second barely passed before Louis started yelling again.

"Get the fuck out of my head!"

Something shattered. Harry quickly opened the door.

Louis was staring the wall, his shoulders tensed, a vase shattered a few feet in front of him.

"Louis?" The smaller boy turns around.

"I said to get out."

"I know...but I heard the glass--do you want me to get your mum?"

"No. They're not home." They were just home a few minutes ago?

"Harry...sorry...I'm just...can we reschedule this project? I have more important things on my mind."

"I saw the meds..." Harry blurts, "What are they for?"

Louis shakes his head.

"Told you he'd find out."

"Shut up." Louis glares at the wall.

"Louis?"

"What?" He snaps.

"What are the meds for?" Harry asks.

"Schizophrenia." Oh. That explains so much. Its silent for a moment. What could Harry say? He couldn't say much.

Louis had his hands curled into fists by his side. Tears started to spring in his eyes.

"Louis?" Harry didn't want to say this. He really didn't. But he had to. He knows its stupid to say. But he needed to.

"Yes?"

"I found the blades."
