I was on my way to pick up Ishaan from his new college on his first day. I got late due to a meeting that unexpectedly came up. When I arrived at his college, I saw him standing at the gate with two girls who must have been his new friends. I stopped the car in front of them and got out. One of the girls caught my attention," she is beautiful" I thought to myself. Her long black hair and beautiful eyes made her look stunning.
My thoughts were interrupted when Ishaan said, "Finally, bhai, you're here. I've been waiting for so long."
"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting, I was stuck in an important meeting," I apologized.
"It's fine, now let's go home. I am super hungry," Ishaan said dramatically.
I chuckled and said, "Yeah, let's go." We got into the car, and Ishaan said bye to his friends.
We were on our way home, and "On the first day of college, he made friends, and that too with girls," I thought and chuckled.
"What happened? Why are you laughing?" Ishaan asked.
"Nothing" I replied.
"Such a weirdo," Ishaan murmured.
"I heard that," I said, and Ishaan nervously laughed.

We arrived home. I couldn't stop thinking about that girl during the entire drive.
After parking the car, we entered our home.
"You guys are late," Mom said.
"Yeah, actually I got stuck in a meeting and got late," I replied.
"Aree forget it, Mom. Let's have lunch quickly, I'm very hungry," Ishaan said.
"Okay, you both go and freshen up, I'll serve the food," mom said.
We both nodded and went upstairs to our respective rooms.
After a few minutes, I came downstairs and saw that Ishaan had already started eating. I went up to him and said, a little dramatically, "Wow, you didn't even wait for me?"
"I was hungry, bhai," Ishaan replied.
"Hn hn, I know," I chuckled and said as I sat down next to him.
We were having lunch when Mom said, "Advay, Ishaan, listen."
"Yes, Mom, what is it?" we replied.
"Today, we have to go for dinner at our friend's place, so get ready by 7," Mom said.
"Your's and dad's friend? Which friend?" I asked with a confused expression.
"You probably don't know them, but you met them when you were very young," Mom replied, and I made an "oh" face and nodded
