Author's pov

"There's something we wanted to tell you all..." Nirvi said.

"Well, don't leave us in suspense! What is it?" Mrs Arora asked.

"We've been together for a long time now, and we've decided to take the next step in our relationship," Rohan said

"We...we've decided to get married" Nirvi spoke

"That's wonderful news! We're happy for you both" Anchal aunty said

"Beta, I'm so happy for both of you" Mrs Arora said and hugged her daughter

Nirvi threw her arms around Mrs Arora, tears welling up in her eyes.

Rohan is planning to propose to Nirvi before their marriage. Currently, he and Inaya are at a jewellery store looking for the perfect ring for proposal.

"Wow, Rohan! These are amazing! Which one do you think Nirvi would like?" Inaya said

"I don't know, Inaya. Nirvi's taste is so...unique" Rohan runs a hand through his hair, his brow furrowed in concentration

Inaya picks out a ring with a giant, princess-cut diamond and exclaims, "Look at this one! So sparkly, like Nirvi's personality!"

"Maybe a bit much, don't you think? Nirvi's not really a flashy kind of girl" Rohan said.

Inaya shrugs and puts the ring back. She picks up a delicate band with a single, pear-shaped diamond.

"How about this? Simple, elegant...classic." Inaya asked

Rohan takes a closer look and nods thoughtfully, "Hmm, that's nice. But maybe a little...boring for a proposal ring?"

"Honestly, bhai! You're being impossible!" Inaya said

A kindly-looking saleswoman approaches them and asks "Can I help you find something special today?"

"We're hoping to find a ring for a proposal, for my girlfriend," Rohan replied

The saleswoman smiles and asks, "What kind of style are you looking for?"

"Simple and elegant. Maybe something with a unique touch?" Rohan answers

The saleswoman nods knowingly and disappears into the back. A moment later, she returns with a small velvet box. "This might be just what you're looking for. It's a vintage design - a sapphire surrounded by a halo of tiny diamonds. The sapphire is a lovely shade of blue, very unique." she said and opened the box, revealing a breathtaking ring. The sapphire catches the light, glowing with an inner fire. Inaya gasps.

"Bhai, it's perfect!" Inaya whispered

Rohan stares at the ring, a slow smile spreading across his face. He can already picture it on Nirvi's finger.

"We'll take it," Rohan said to the saleswoman. The saleswoman beams. As she carefully wraps the ring.

"I told you na, we'd find the perfect one!" Inaya throws her arm around Rohan's shoulder.

Inaya, Ishaan, Mrunali and Advay were sitting in the living room at Inaya's house. They all were waiting for Rohan to come.

"Hey guys, sorry for being late," Rohan said coming downstairs

"Where were you bhai? We were waiting for you" Inaya said

"Uh sorry some important work came up" Rohan responded and Inaya nodded

"Yeah, so...guys, I need your help," Rohan said

"What kind of help?" Mrunali asked

"As you all know, Nirvi and I plan to get married, but before that, I want to properly propose to her, and I'm so confused!" Rohan said in frustration

"Bhai you haven't decided anything?" Inaya asked

"No, I did some research but now I'm super confused," Rohan said

"Maybe you could recreate your first date?" Mrunali suggested

"At that tiny, crowded samosa stall? Not exactly the most romantic setting," Rohan said

"What about India Gate? It's iconic and beautiful" Ishaan said

"No, too touristy," Inaya said

"So, what exactly does your girlfriend like Rohan?" Advay asked raising his eyebrows

"She loves quiet moments, meaningful conversations, and... sunsets," Rohan said

"Okay, let's think" inaya said

"I was thinking of taking her to Lodhi Garden, you know, during sunset. It's beautiful there, and it holds a special place in our memories," Rohan said

"Perfect choice! It's so romantic." Mrunali said

"And what else do you have planned?" Ishaan asked

"Well, I want to set up a little picnic there, with all her favourite snacks and maybe some candles or fairy lights to create a cozy ambiance." Rohan said

"Nice touch. What else?" Advay asked

"I thought I could have a little handwritten note for her, expressing my feelings and then, when the moment feels right, get down on one knee and pop the question," Rohan said

"That sounds absolutely dreamy!" Inaya said

"It's going to be magical," Mrunali said

"But what about capturing the moment?" Ishaan asked

"I was thinking maybe we could have someone discreetly take photos from a distance. I want to capture her reaction" Rohan replied

"Smart move. We will arrange for that. Just make sure you have a ring, Romeo." Advay chuckled

"Don't worry, I do" Rohan said pulling out a small velvet box from his pocket

He opens the box, revealing the ring. Mrunali gasps and Ishaan and Advay give Rohan a thumbs up.

"It's beautiful, Rohan bhai" Mrunali said

"Thanks, guys for helping me. Now, about those fairy lights..."

Everyone erupts into laughter and chatter, already planning the details of Rohan's perfect proposal.
