I reached college and found Ishaan and Mrunali already waiting for me. Yeah, I'm late again, hehe.
It had been 1 month since the family dinner between my family and Ishaan's, and we had become really close since then. We spent a lot of time together, sometimes me and Mrunali go to Ishaan's house to play video games and hang out. I have met Advay a few times there, but we have never had a conversation. It's always just eye contact or a simple "hello" or "hi."
As I got out of the car, I saw Ishaan and Mrunali smiling at me. I went towards them and said, "Let's go, guys, we're already late." they didn't respond or move and just kept on smiling.
"Why are you guys smiling? Let's go or else the professor won't let us attend the lecture," I said, starting to walk toward the class. But they both didn't even move and kept looking at me, smiling.
"What are you smiling at? Let's gooo," I said getting annoyed.
I turned to go, but Mrunali said, "Inaya..."
"What? Say it fast. We are getting late, Mrunali," I said.
"Lectures are canceled today. We have no class today," Ishaan said.
"And you're telling me this now?? If you told me earlier, I wouldn't have come," I said.
"We knew it. That's why we didn't tell you," Mrunali said.
"So what will we do for the rest of the time?" I asked.
"We can go watch a movie, and then we will think after that," Ishaan suggested.
"Nice idea, Ishaan," Mrunali said.
"Yeah, okay. So let's go," I said.
We were about to go when Abhimanyu came and asked, "Where are you guys going?"
(Abhimanyu? Who's this new guy? well... he's my boyfriend. he's also in our college but in a different course)
"We are going to watch a movie as our lectures are canceled," I said.
"Oh, that's great. I'll also come with you," Abhimanyu said.
"Why?" Mrunali and Ishaan said together.
"What why? Inaya doesn't have any problem, so why do you guys have?" Abhimanyu said, looking at Ishaan and Mrunali.
"But you have lectures to attend," Mrunali said, I know they both don't want Abhi to come with us.
"So? I want to spend time with Inaya. That's why I'm coming," Abhimanyu said, and Ishaan and Mrunali rolled their eyes, getting annoyed.
"Hey, leave it, Abhi," I said, holding his hand. "Let's go, guys, or else we'll be late for the movie," I said, heading towards Ishaan's car with Abhimanyu.
