Next day:
Sunlight streams through the large windows of the college cafeteria. Inaya, Ishaan, and Mrunali are sitting and eating their sandwiches.
"So, tell me everything! How was the wedding shopping yesterday?" Mrunali asked taking a bite from her sandwich
"Don't even get me started! We spent hours looking at sarees, lehengas, you name it. My feet are still killing me." Inaya groans
"Wow, sounds intense!" Mrunali said, laughing
"Come on, it wasn't all bad. At least you got to escape with us for a bit." Ishaan grinned
"Yeah! That was the best part of the whole day." Inaya said
"Wait, you guys snuck out?" Mrunali asked
"Yeah! Advay bhai snuck Inaya and me out for kulfi while everyone was busy." Ishaan replied
"We needed a break," Inaya said
"That's so unlike Advay!" Mrunali said
"I know, right?" Ishaan replied
"Shopping with the whole family worked up quite an appetite. We ended up at this amazing South Indian restaurant Rohan bhai loves." Inaya said
"Oh man, I loved that place!" Ishaan replied
"Sounds like a fun day. I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed I missed out on the kulfi adventure." Mrunali said
"Don't worry, Mrunali. We'll have our shopping spree soon enough, minus the families. Just us three!" Inaya said
"Deal!" Mrunali said, bumping fists with Inaya.
"And Inaya did you notice how Advay bhai kept hovering around you all day? He practically had hearts in his eyes whenever you tried on a new outfit." Ishaan said
"Stop it, Ishaan! He's just being nice, we are just friends. Besides, he barely spoke to me the whole time." Inaya said, throwing a napkin at Ishaan.
"Uh-huh. Oh really? Because the way he looks at you when you're not looking...well, let's just say it doesn't exactly scream 'just friends'," Ishaan said
"Maybe Ishaan has a point, Inaya." Mrunali said nudging Inaya's arm
"Shut up! You two are impossible." Inaya said
Just then, a text notification pops up on Ishaan's phone. He reads it and raises an eyebrow.
"Speaking of the devil... Advay just texted. He needs me to come to his office for a bit, I have to go." Ishaan said
"Oh, okay. See you later, Ishaan!" Mrunali said
"Bye, Ishaan!" Inaya added
"Wanna come along?" Ishaan asked Inaya
"To Advay's office? Why on earth would I want to do that?" Inaya replied
"Come on, Inaya! It'll be fun!" Ishaan said, smirking
"No, Ishaan!" Inaya said firmly
"Oh, come on!" Ishaan takes Inaya's hand and pulls her up
"Good luck, Inaya! See you later!" Mrunali said, laughing
Ishaan and Inaya leave the canteen, with Ishaan still holding Inaya's hand.
"Don't worry, Inaya. I just want to tease bhai a bit." Ishaan whispered
"Ishaan, what are you up to?" Inaya said nervously
