Hold on a Nanosec

It was a nice night at the docks of Detroit, with fireworks shooting into the sky to celebrate the 4th of July, when some crook named Nano Sexton (voiced by Brian Posehn), came running down with a bag full of money. That was when the crook found a yellow police Camaro with it's door opened, unaware that it was really Bumblebee in vehicle mode. Nano Sexton: "Man some people are dumber than refrigerators to leave the doors open." suddenly, Bumblebee transformed into robot mode and took a hold of the crook. Bumblebee: "If I were you, I'd watch who you call a refrigerator." said the yellow Autobot, before the crook kicked him on the face in order to escape, only to find Bulkhead in front of him. Bulkhead: "Can we just wrap this up?, I wanna watch the fireworks." Bumblebee: "Oh come on, it's not like I can't handle this guy, besides he kicked me." Bulkhead: "No need to be all sore about it, as I doubt the kick could hurt ya." Bumblebee: "Well it still wasn't nice, and I can catch him in no time as I'm the fastest thing on wheels." while the Autobots were talking, the crook tried to make an escape, only for Bulkhead to use his wrecking ball to stop him. Unfortunately, the impact caused the dock they were standing on to collapse and fell to the water. The crook was hanging on to a piece of wood before he got grabbed by Optimus Prime, while Ratchet used his magnetic powers to pull both Bumblebee and Bulkhead out of the water. Optimus Prime: "Now I'm kind of new on this planet, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to pay for those before running off with them." the crook only groaned in response. The next day at Sumdac tower, the professor was trying to make a small robotic arm for Megatron, but it was no success. Megatron: "I told you that it would be useless." Professor Sumdac: "Ah!... oh sorry, I'm still not to hearing you talk." Megatron: "Understandable, but what I really need is destronium." Professor Sumdac: "That would be a problem, as while it might be plentiful on Cybertron, we have only managed to get small samples here on earth." Megatron: "That is... disappointing." Professor Sumdac: "I just hope we don't get you a new body too quickly, as there will be problems with it in the future, like when you tried to use the Dinobots as a test for it." Megatron: "I'll admit that was a setback, but of course the technology here is a bit... prehistoric." Professor Sumdac: "Are you sure that we can't ask the Autobots for help?, I mean they would know what to do." Megatron: "No!... I do not wish for them to see me in this state, besides, I don't want to distract them from all the good they're doing for the city." Professor Sumdac: "I... suppose so." meanwhile at the Autobot base, Optimus Prime was giving a Bumblebee and Bulkhead a little scolding for what happened at the docks. Bumblebee: "It wasn't my fault, Bulkhead broke the dock!" Optimus Prime: "This isn't about who's the blame, it's about you acting rashly without thinking of the consequences, in other words, you need to use your head more instead of your thrusters, otherwise someone could get seriously hurt." that was when Sari and Daniel came in with a wagon that had a pair of what looked like rockets. Daniel: "Hey guys, check out these turbo boosters for Bumblebee!, they look awesome right?" Bumblebee: "Sweet!" Optimus Prime: "You're not seriously thinking of putting those on, are ya?" Bumblebee: "Why not?" Ratchet: "For one they're untested and the fact that you're supposed to use your head more." Daniel: "Oh come on, it's not like my grandpa's inventions are dangerous." Ratchet: "Tell that to those incidents with the Dinobots or the Nanobots." Sari: "He does have a point there." said Sari, before Daniel gave the former female Decepticon a glare that made her stop talking. Meanwhile in Sumdac tower, the professor was on a call with a lab team that were testing a new speed enhancing suit, which was malfunctioning a little. Megatron: "A Cyber suit?" Professor Sumdac: "Yes, it's supposed to allow the wearer to have super speed, but as you can see, there are still a few bugs." Megatron: "As impressive it might be, I still need destronium for my new body." Professor Sumdac: "Maybe so, but the only closest sample is across town, and extremely unstable, by the time it gets transported here, it could either become useless or worse highly explosive, unless you were able to move it under 10 minutes, but nothing is that fast... well other then the Cyber suit maybe." Megatron had his good eye narrowed as he scans the Cyber suit's schematics. Sometime later, the crook that the Autobots caught last night was in his prison cell, until a guard told him that someone paid for his bail, which really got the crook puzzled as he knew nobody that would do that. Once he got out, a robot came and gave him a package, which had the Cyber suit inside with instructions. Meanwhile, Bumblebee, Prowl and Bulkhead were driving down the streets in vehicle mode while Daniel was riding inside the yellow Autobot. Bumblebee: "Can this traffic go any faster?" Bulkhead: "Come on little buddy, you gotta learn how to take things slow once in a while, and besides boss bot told ya that you need to use your head more often." Bumblebee: "Says the bot who's known to be clumsy." Bulkhead: "Hey at least I use my head to know the effects of my actions, unlike you." Daniel: "Guys please, arguing won't make this traffic go any faster." Prowl: "Not to mention your complaining will attract unwanted attention." Bumblebee: "Says the bot who looks like a motorcycle that's driving itself." said Bumblebee, before Prowl sets up a hologram of a police cop riding his motorcycle form. Prowl: "Happy?" suddenly, a group of police cars drove passed them, with their sirens on, which gave Bumblebee an idea of turning his red police klaxon light on and follow the cops. Bumblebee: "Since my vehicle mode is a police car, I might as well blend in with them." Daniel: "Well actually, it's a Camaro that was based on Uncle Fanzone's car, but close enough." Bumblebee: "Whatever." that was when they saw something that looked like an orange and black blur that was zipping across the city. Daniel: "What was that?" Bumblebee: "I don't know, it was there and then gone in a Nanosec." that was when the blur stopped in front of them, reveling to be the crook from before, who heard them and thought of a good nickname. Nanosec: Hey that's not a bad name, from now on, call me Nanosec." that was when Bumblebee transformed, putting Daniel behind him. Bumblebee: "You again huh?, where did you get the suit?, it makes you look 10 years older." before there could be an answer, Nanosec left the scene in a flash, which really surprised everyone in the area. Bumblebee: "Whoa... that was fast..." that was when the other Autobots came to the scene. Optimus Prime: "What happened here?" Bumblebee: "Well it seems that crook from last night is back, and he just got a suit that seems to make him uh... faster than me." Bulkhead: "How do we catch him?" Bumblebee: "With me of course, I'm the fastest thing on wheels after all." Daniel: "But didn't you just said that he was faster than you?" Bumblebee: "Well it's not like he can't run forever, I mean humans do tire out right?" Optimus Prime: "Even so, we better find him before things get more out of hand, transform and roll out!" called out Optimus Prime before he and the Autobots went to vehicle mode and go after to super fast crook. Meanwhile, Nanosec was still running when a holographic image of Megatron's head was shown in front of him, turns out that Megatron was giving Nanosec a message that can only be perceived at ultra high speeds, telling him that in return of giving him a code to the professor's bank account, he must deliver the destronium to Sumdac Tower under 10 minutes, which he accepts if it means a big payday for him. Back with the Autobots, Bumblebee has been trying to improve his speed, but not much luck. Bumblebee: "I still think that we can catch him if I was a little faster." Optimus Prime: "Speed can't solve every problem!, taking shortcuts like that could do more harm than good!, if you don't use your head more, it could cost the life of someone you're close to on a planet full of giant spiders!" Bumblebee: "Uh... what?" asked Bumblebee, looking at Optimus who realized what he just said before clearing his robotic throat. Optimus Prime: "Look, my point is that you got to use your head more instead of your thrusters." Bumblebee: "Yeah, that's what I keep hearing all day." Optimus Prime: "And for good reason." Bumblebee: "So does this mean that I still can't use the turbo boosters?" asked the yellow bot, holding the two turbo boosters, which made Optimus Prime place his hand on his face. Suddenly, they saw Nanosec coming their way with a canister that contained the Destronium. Bulkhead: "What's that he's carrying?" Ratchet: "Doubt it's something that belongs to him." that was when Bumblebee went to vehicle mode and tried to catch Nanosec, only for the villain to dodge and placed the turbo boosters on the sides before turning them on. Nanosec: "Let's see if you can handle being as fast as me." said the speedy villain, before Bumblebee drove in super speed by the boosters and couldn't stop. Bumblebee: "Ah!, I can't stop!, I can't control my vehicle mode!" Ratchet: "So go to robot mode!" Bumblebee: "Oh... why didn't I think of that?" said the yellow Autobot, before changing back to robot mode, and then crashed into a wall. Bulkhead: "You okay little buddy?" Bumblebee: "Well, I just learned that there are some setbacks on being super fast... like being able to stop before hitting into something..." that was when Ratchet was able to catch Nanosec with his magnetic powers. Ratchet: "Too bad for you those wheels you use in your suit are attached to metal." Bulkhead: "Wait... that canister... it has destronium, unstable destronium!" Sari: "destronium?!" Daniel: "What's that?" Bulkhead: "It's stuff we use on standby during construction projects on Cybertron, or repair damaged bots, but if it's unstable, it make a massive explosion." Ratchet: "And by the looks of it, this stuff could blow up half of Detroit." Sari noticed something off about Nanosec, like he looked a lot older than earlier. Sari: "Hey, doesn't he look a little older than before?" Daniel: "You're right, he does look much older now..." that was when Nanosec finally got himself free and took the Destronium before running off again. Ratchet: "We gotta stop him and get that Destronium before it blows up!" Daniel: "What I don't get it why he looks much older than he was earlier?" Sari: "A side effect from exposure to the destronium?" Bulkhead: "Maybe he's a type of human who ages fast." Bumblebee: "Age... that's it!" said Bumblebee, before quickly activated the turbo boosters and rocketed away. Optimus Prime: "Bumblebee, what are you doing?!" Bumblebee: "Using my head and my thrusters!" called out the yellow Autobot, before catching up to Nanosec, and taking the Destronium from him. Nanosec: "Hey!, come back with my payday!" Bumblebee: "You want this so badly?, then come and get it!" called out the yellow Autobot, before zooming around the city, with Nanosec following him, who was starting to look older and older until he turned into a very old man and fell to the ground while gasping for air. The Autobots came up and saw what happened to the speedy villain. Daniel: "What happened to him?" Sari: "Yeah, he looks like a very old model now..." Bumblebee: "That suit didn't just speed up his running and made him look older, it made everything to speed up, in other words it made turned older, the more he used it, the faster his body aged, until he finally ran out of time." Optimus Prime: "Nice thinking Bumblebee, but what about the destronium?" Ratchet: "Oh scrap!, we only got 30 Nano clicks before it destroys the whole city!" Sari: "Give it to me!, I can fly it up into the upper atmosphere, there it can detonate safely." Prowl: "But there's no telling if you'll get away from the explosion in time." Sari: "It's either that or the city gets destroyed." said the young female former Decepticon, before she flys off into the sky with the canister. Once she threw it away into space, the canister exploded and Sari began plummeting down to earth. Bumblebee: "Sari!" Daniel: "She's not gonna make it!" Bulkhead: "What do we do?!, noun of us can fly!" Prowl: "But maybe I can... with a little help, Bulkhead, throw me up into the air, so I can use my jet pack to fly me up to Sari!" Bulkhead: "Sure thing!" so they did just that, and Prowl tries to help Sari to slow down, but not much luck. Optimus Prime: "Ratchet, you use your magnets while I use my water hose to slow them down and cool them down quick!" so they did just that, and soon both Sari and Prowl were safely down the ground, though their robotic bodies were both covered in heat burns from falling through the atmosphere. Bulkhead: "Are you guys okay?" Sari: "Whew... what a ride." Bumblebee: "I'm guessing that's a yes." sometime later, the police arrested Nanosec, escorting him to the hospital for some needed treatment. Megatron and Professor Sumdac have been watching the news. Professor Sumdac: "How do you suppose this Nanosec fellow got a hold on my Cyber suit?" Megatron: "I suspect it was an inside job." back with the Autobots, they were making sure Sari and Prowl were alright. Optimus Prime: "Well done you two, especially you Sari, you really saved the city." Sari: "Well of course I did, this city is my best friend's home after all." said Sari, looking down at the human boy who smiled at her. Bumblebee: "Well Ratchet, I guess you were right about not to use the turbo boosters before testing them." Ratchet: "Yeah, but at least we saved the city." Optimus Prime: "Indeed, now let's head back to base." Prowl: "Race you back to the base?" Bumblebee: "Um, if it's the same to you, I think I'll walk." Daniel: "Me too." Sari: "Mind if I tag along?" Bumblebee: "Not at all." Daniel: "I wouldn't mind either."
