Survival of the fittest

Daniel were practicing on some flying kicks with Sari and Prowl when they noticed Bulkhead doing some paintings. Daniel: "Hey Bulkhead." Sari: "What cha doing?" Bulkhead: "I'm doing something that Carly told me, she said it's called art, something about making images from your mind... what do you think?" said Bulkhead, as he shows them a painting of his arm. Sari: "Well... it looks like a match to your arm." Bulkhead: "What about you Daniel, what's with all the flying kicks?" Daniel: "Optimus said that I need to learn how to defend myself due to my key being a big target to the Decepticons." Bulkhead: "That's good to hear, I can't bare the thought of something bad happen to you." later when night came, Daniel was still practicing in his room, before getting ready for bed when he saw a large shadow figure looming over his window. He opened it and saw what looked like Swoop, who cawed loudly before grabbing Daniel and flew off. When morning came, Optimus came to wake the other Autobots and told them the bad news. Optimus Prime: "Autobots!, I just got a call from Professor Sumdac, Daniel is missing!" this got the Autobots on full alert as they transform into vehicle mode and drove off to Sumdac tower. Once they got there, they see that Captain Fanzone was in a bad mood due to his phone not working right. Captain Fanzone: "This is why I hate machines!" Prowl: "You don't have to be such a technophobe." Captain Fanzone: "A technophobe is someone who fears technology... does this... look like... fear to you?!" Bumblebee: "Uh... no?" that was when Optimus Prime saw something in the security footage that got his attention. Optimus Prime: "Hey look... isn't that one of the Dinobots?" Ratchet: "Those robotic dinosaurs?, what would they want with Daniel?" Optimus Prime: "Not sure, but this might give us a lead to find Daniel." Captain Fanzone: "Well I'm coming with you, since this is my city, and that boy happens to be my nephew." Spike: "Carly and I are coming too, Daniel is our son after all." Carly: "So don't try to talk us out of it." so the Autobots, Captain Fanzone, and the Witwicky couple went to Dinobot island, in hopes to find Daniel and figure out why the Dinobots took him. That was when they noticed some webs in the area... really big webs. Bumblebee: "Okay... either place has not been touched by nothing but spiders for a very long time... or this is the work of a very large spider." Captain Fanzone: "Oh come on, there are no spiders on earth big enough to do these." that was when Optimus Prime had his eyes widened and gasped in horror. Optimus Prime: "Blackarachnia was here!" Bumblebee: "You mean... that spider Decepticon lady?!" Bulkhead: "The one we ran into on Halloween?!" Optimus Prime: "The very same." Spike: "So do you think this Blackarachnia is behind Daniel's kidnapping?" Optimus Prime: "Perhaps... she must be after Daniel's key, as it holds the same powers of the AllSpark itself." Carly: "But what does she got to do with the Dinobots?" Optimus Prime: "The only way to find out is by finding Blackarachnia." Bulkhead: "Uh... boss bot... I think she found us first!" said the large Autobot, before Optimus Prime turned around to see Blackarachnia and the Dinobots surrounding the group. Blackarachnia: "Looks like I got some more guests on this island." Sari: "Not by choice, just to let you know." Bumblebee: "Alright spider lady, we know that you got Daniel, where is he?!" Blackarachnia: "Oh you mean the little organic boy?, he's fine for now, but not for long unless you surrender now and come to my lair." knowing that they had no other option, they did as she told them and were forced to follow her to where Daniel was being held prisoner. Daniel: "Hey guys... I guess you managed to figure out who took me..." Blackarachnia: "Be quiet and hand over the key to me or I'll have to use so much of my venom on your friends that they will die in an instant!" yelled the spider Decepticon, pointing at the Autobots and humans while glaring at Daniel, who was having a hard time choosing what to do. Optimus Prime: "You can't use the key, or have you forgotten what happened the last time you used it?" Blackarachnia: "That was just a minor setback, but once I discover how to make the key work, I will finally be all bot again. That was when the group heard Grimlock roaring while struggling to get out of the webs that Blackarachnia used to trap him. Grimlock: "Me Grimlock make spider lady pay for hurting Dinobots!" Blackarachnia: "Oh please, you're in no position to make real threats while in those webs, [turning to Daniel] now once again, give me the key or your friends are finished." Daniel was looking down on the ground when suddenly, Captain Fanzone threw a piece of scrap that hit Blackarachnia in the eyes, which causes her to temporarily lose the ability to see, allowing the Autobots to make their escape with Daniel, but not before freeing Grimlock in the process, who was grateful for their help. Once they got outside, they find that Blackarachnia was right behind them, looking very angry at Captain Fanzone as she manage to grab a hold on him. Blackarachnia: "Any last words before I make you my latest snack?" that was when Carly kicked the spider Decepticon on the leg, which didn't really hurt but it did caught her attention. Blackarachnia: "What was that supposed to be?" asked the spider Decepticon, before getting a kick in the face by Sari. Carly: "That was known as a distraction." while Blackarachnia was on the ground, Sari used the webs to wrap up the Decepticon just as the Dinobots showed up. Sari: "It's okay, she can't hurt you anymore." Grimlock: "Spider lady hurt Dinobots... now Dinobots hurt spider lady!" roared Grimlock, as he and the other two Dinobots suddenly transform into robot mode, which really surprised the group. Captain Fanzone: "What... the...?" Sari: "Whoa!" Daniel: "Cool~..." Bulkhead: "Uh... they couldn't do that before... right?" Prowl: "Well since they have sparks like us... I guess it shouldn't be a real surprise that they can do that too..." as the Dinobots were getting closer to her, Blackarachnia was in a panic. Blackarachnia: "No!, please, stay away!" it was not long before she managed to transform into her spider mode and freed herself, before running away from the angry Dinobots. A few hours later, Captain Fanzone was calling Professor Sumdac that Daniel was safe and on the way back home, much to the professor's relief. After the call was done, Optimus Prime went up to Captain Fanzone. Optimus Prime: "So you're gonna let the Dinobots stay on the island in peace?" Captain Fanzone: "As long as they stay out of my city and remain on their island, I won't have a problem with them, and as much as I hate machines, I hate criminals more, especially those Decepticons." Optimus Prime: "I'm with you on that one..., though I can't really hate Blackarachnia for being one... as it was my fault she became one in the first place..." Captain Fanzone: "What do you mean?" Optimus Prime: "Long ago... she was once an Autobot that was an old friend of mine... before an incident happened that made me leave her behind and I have not seen her since... until last Halloween..." Captain Fanzone: "Wow... that's rough..." Optimus Prime: "Yeah... I just hope that we'll be able to handle the next time the Decepticons make a move." little did he knew that the next Decepticon attack will happen a lot sooner than he think.
