Clean up

It's been a couple of weeks since the incident with Megatron and the other Decepticons, and now the Autobots, along with the Elite guard, were busy repairing the damage from the battle. Bulkhead: "Gotta say, this is a big clean up job, even for us." Jazz: "Well it's not like the city is gonna clean itself, and I don't think the humans can pick up this rubble as we can, dig?" Ratchet: "That's for sure, unless they can somehow transform like us, or have a key like Daniel." Jazz: "Speaking of which, where is he, and Bumblebee and Sari to add that?" Optimus Prime: "Over there." said Optimus, pointing his robotic finger at Bumblebee, Sari and the Daniel, who were moving some rubble. Bumblebee: "You feeling okay?" Daniel: "Well other than the fact that I'm like doing spring cleaning in a big way and it's not even Christmas yet, swell." Bumblebee: "That wasn't what I meant..." Daniel: "You mean my grandpa?, I don't know, a million things could have happened to him..." Bumblebee: "But at least your grandpa's company is in good hands right now." Daniel: "Yeah, my dad would be perfect as my grandpa's successor... I just hope grandpa's okay..." Bumblebee: "Don't worry, I promise that after we're done here, we'll find him." Sari: "Yeah." Daniel: "Thanks." said Daniel, before he gives Bumblebee and Sari a big hug. That was when Optimus Prime walked up to them. Optimus Prime: "Everything okay?" Bumblebee: "Sure Prime, we were just trying to cheer Daniel up about the professor being missing." Daniel: "So do you think we'll find my grandpa?" Optimus Prime: "I sure hope so, we have not seen him since our recent battle with the Decepticons." Bumblebee: "You think they really left earth?" Optimus Prime: "Doubt it, for one thing they have no way to get off this planet without a ship or a space bridge, and second is that even with the AllSpark gone for the moment, there's still the AllSpark key." Sari: "And the fact that we sure kicked their metal butts, which they would need time to recover." Optimus Prime: "That's right, for all we know, they could be hiding anywhere on this planet, waiting for the right moment to strike." meanwhile, after their defeat on Dinobot island, the Decepticons had relocated their base to a large mine in a forest outside of the city. All of them were trying their best to recover from their last encounter with the Autobots. Lugnut: "Why do we have to hide here like cowards when we should be out there and destroying those accursed Autobots!" Megatron: "Patience Lugnut, these carbon deposits will shield our energy signals while we recover from our last encounter with the Autobots, besides we have a much bigger target, Cybertron itself." Random Blitzwing: "That sounds crazy!, even for me!" Lugnut: "Don't you dare question our leader!" Blackarachnia: "But how are we gonna get Cybertron at this point?" Starscream: "I was gonna say the same thing." Megatron: "As you might know, the two things the Autobots had that lead to our defeat in the great war was the AllSpark, and their space bridge technology, and since the AllSpark is no longer available to us, we can use the second." Blackarachnia: "You mean a space bridge?" Megatron: "That is correct, during my battle onboard the Autobots' ship, I was able to download the schematics to one of their space bridges." Icy Blitzwing: "Intriguing, if we reverse engineer the technology, we could construct our own space bridge..." Hothead Blitzwing: "Then beam ourselves to Cybertron, and conquer the planet from within!" Blackarachnia: "There's one problem, we lack the necessary engineering talent to recreate a space bridge." Starscream: "She's right about that, we Decepticons are made for battle, not building or stuff like that." Megatron: "That won't be a problem as I manage to collect Professor Sumdac to do that for us." said the Decepticon leader, before looking at the professor, who was in trapped in a large energy cage with a makeshift lab inside. Professor Sumdac: "You won't trick me into helping you this time Megatron, the Autobots will come for me!" Megatron: "As if they would rescue the human who rebuilt their worst enemy, and don't forget that if it weren't for me, you would have been dead in the cold snow, now the only thing keeping you alive is how well you serve me." said Megatron, before making an evil chuckle that made the professor shaken in fear. Back on the Elite Guard ship, Sentinel Prime was not happy at all. Sentinel Prime: "Sir, what do you mean we can't get back to Cybertron?!" Ultra Magnus: "Well you see, it turns out that this planet is not only beyond Autobot space, but there is no space bridge for us to warp us back, and even if we knew which way to go, we don't have enough Energon for the trip, so until we find a way to get back to Cybertron, we'll be here for a while." Sentinel Prime: "Oh man..." Meanwhile, back in the mines, Professor Sumdac was quietly complaining about he was forced to work on making the Decepticon space bridge, before his robot assistant started to go crazy and that was when Megatron blasted it. Soon, the Decepticons see what looked like a blue glowing crystal inside the remains of the robot, and this made them realized that it could only be one thing. Blackarachnia: "Is that... a piece of the AllSpark?" Icy Blitzwing: "Odd, I thought the Autobot called Optimus Prime destroyed the AllSpark." Megatron: "The AllSpark is life itself, it can not be destroyed, at least not entirely, it seems that it's energy has survived in fragments such as this, they must be shattered throughout the city, if not the whole planet, and each one capable of installing it's life force into even the most basic of circuitry, just imagine the possibilities..." elsewhere at a Sumdac assembly plant, one such fragment had managed to embed itself into the control panel of the plant creating security drones. The extra surge of energy was leaking into the entire plant, and into the security drone too. Back with the Autobots, Daniel managed to get a call from Spike, and Sari was next to the boy. Sari: "Hey Spike." Daniel: "Hi dad, what is it?" Spike: "We got trouble, something is going wrong with one of the assembly plants, like the whole systems being overloaded and the security drones are going nuts." Sari: "Don't worry, the bots, Daniel and I will get on it." Carly: "Just be careful, okay?" Sari: "Sure." Optimus Prime: "You heard her, Autobots, transform and roll out!" called out Prime, as he and the other Autobots went to vehicle mode to head off to the malfunctioning assembly plant. That was when the kids noticed that Jazz had a luxury car of made-up model reminiscent of a Porsche 911 for his vehicle mode, while Ultra Magnus had 8-wheeled heavy expanded mobility tactical truck, Ironhide had an orange pickup truck with blue siren lights on top, and Sentinel Prime had a blue pick up truck with a snow plow for his vehicle mode. Sari: "Uh, those vehicles are a little bit too noticeable don't you think?" Ironhide: "It wasn't like we were meant to stay here for very long, at least until we find a way back to Cybertron." Jazz: "Besides, what bot wouldn't want to have such cool set of wheels like these for a vehicle mode?" Daniel: "Stop!, red light!" called out Daniel, pointing at the traffic light up ahead, which was now red, and the Autobots had to stop in front of it as some cars were driving through the road that was on the sides of the road they were on. Jazz: "What are we stopping for?" Ironhide: "Decepticons?" Optimus Prime: "No, it's just that the traffic light in front of us is red, and here on the roads here, the red light means stop, and green means go, as for the yellow... I think that's a signal for us to slow down as the red light is coming up." Daniel: "That's right." Sentinel Prime: "What's the point of that?" Prowl: "I believe it's a way for the humans to take turns on driving the roads without crashing into one another." Jazz: "Sounds like a good road rule to me." Daniel: "You don't have traffic lights on Cybertron?" Ironhide: "We never needed to as we normally spend most of our travel on the planet in robot mode." said Ironhide, before the traffic light in front of the Autobots turned green. Daniel: "Okay, the light has turned green, we can go now." said Daniel, as the Autobots continued on rolling. Jazz: "That was some colorful light show back there, and they're called traffic lights, right?" Daniel: "Yup." Sari: "That's about right." Jazz: "Crazy... hey Ultra Magnus sir, you think we could have something like those traffic lights on Cybertron?" Ultra Magnus: "When we get back to Cybertron, I'll think about it." Ratchet: "Hey Sari...why did you stop like the rest of us?" Sari: "What do you mean?, the traffic light was red." Ratchet: "Yeah, but I think the traffic lights are meant for vehicles that drive on the road, not those that fly in the sky like yours." Sari: "Uh... is that true?" Daniel: "Yeah... but it's not like you'll get into trouble for trying to follow the traffic rules here, and you're still learning about Earth." Sari: "Yeah... look out!" said Sari, as she sees another traffic light that was red, and the Autobots stopped again. Sentinel Prime: "Ugh!, we'll never get anywhere at this rate!" Daniel: "Well there is a way to get through the red traffic light without getting into trouble." Jazz: "There is?" Daniel: "Yeah, emergency vehicles like the ones that Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Prowl and Bulkhead have can get through without being stopped as they need to get to where there's an emergency as soon as possible." Optimus Prime: "Like this." said Optimus Prime, before he and his team turned on their sirens and drove forward through the red light without any trouble. Sentinel Prime: "What about us?!" Jazz: "Cool it Sentinel, I have an idea." said Jazz, before some police car roof lights came out of the roof of his vehicle mode and made their own siren sounds to drive through. Ultra Magnus: "We better do the same." said Ultra Magnus, before his own vehicle mode gets it's own set of emergency lights to appear on top and turned them on to pass through. Ironhide: "Come on Sentinel Prime sir, we better move it." said Ironhide, before he and Sentinel Prime bring up their own emergency lights to let out siren sounds to drive through without trouble as well. Soon, the Autobots arrived at the assembly plant, and that's when Daniel's AllSpark key began to glow, letting a beam that was pointing at the door. Daniel: "Uh oh..." Sari: "That can't be good." the human boy and former female Decepticon said, before an army of security drones came out and started attacking. Jazz: "Is this kind of action happen often on this planet?" Prowl: "Pretty much." Bumblebee: "Never a dull moment here." they tried to trash them, but while the drone might be fragile compared to them, they make it up by numbers and firepower. Bulkhead: "These things keep coming faster than we could smash them!" Optimus Prime: "Then we need to take out the source, by shutting down the assembly line!" Sari: "We can do it!" Daniel: "Yeah, we can use my key to do it, and this is after all my family's company after all." Optimus Prime: "Alright, I'll take Sari and Daniel inside while the rest of you try to keep the drones busy!" Bumblebee: "You got it!" once inside the plant, Optimus Prime and Sari guards Daniel, who used his key into a slot on the panel, allowing him to shut the assembly down. The rest of the Autobots were busy taking down the remaining drones now they assembly line was down, and that was when Ultra Magnus used his hammer to unleash a huge bolt of lightning to take out the remaining drones. Bumblebee: "Whoa... now I get why they call you 'Ultra' Magnus." back inside, Daniel was trying to remove his key, but it wouldn't budge. Daniel: "I can't get it out, the key's stuck!" Optimus Prime: "Stand back, I'll try cutting them out." so Daniel did what he said, and soon Optimus used his axe to cut the panel in half, reveling the AllSpark fragment inside. Sari: "What's that?" Optimus Prime: "I think it's... a fragment of the AllSpark." soon they went back to their group and told them what happened inside. Jazz: "Looks like your theory about the AllSpark's energy getting disperse was right on the money." Ultra Magnus: "Meaning that there could be more of these fragments scattered all over this city, if not the whole planet." Bulkhead: "And if one of them could cause this..." Ratchet: "There's no telling what more of them will do..." Optimus Prime: "Then it's our mission to find them before the Decepticons do."
