Maya Kekoa. What an interesting last name.
Well at least I know her name now, if I ever run into her.

What an annoying weird guy.
I lowered my music a bit, because although it wasn't that loud, I do respect people studying. Especially when everyone else was out partying for the most part, so knocked out, I bet they couldn't hear me yell if I tried.
I returned to the bathroom, undoing the wrap around my damp hair. Gosh how long had it been since a haircut?
I had promised to cut it while I was here but with all the things on my plate, it slipped my mind that I had to do that.
My phone started ringing and I looked up to read "Aniya". I picked up.
"Maya!! How is it going?" her cheerful as always voice.
I giggled at her excitement, and how nice it was to hear a familiar voice. It had been two weeks since I had heard from any of my friends. On top of studying, traveling, and trying new things, I found it hard to keep track of all the people in my life back at home.
"It's good! This guy just knocked on my door though. He told me to lower my music but it wasn't even that loud" I replied.
"Was he cute?" she asked.
I hesitated, "Yeah, I guess but eh. He's one of those guys that probably knows it. His tone was so, ugh, entitled or something"
"Okaayyy, but did you give him attitude?" she asked with curiosity.
"Duh. I wasn't gonna back down from something that 1 wasn't even that loud and 2 was on for maybe 30 minutes! He lives like 2 doors down. It couldn't have been that bad"
"Wait- do you know him" she asked.
"No, but I know he lives two doors down because I saw him leaving for class one day"
"Well maybe he's used to quiet" she said. Aniya always has a way of understanding people around her, sometimes to a fault. But I love her for it.
"You also can be a bit uhhh..." she continued"
I laughed as I knew what she was going to say.
"I'm not argumentative, I just like reasoning behind things!" I said before she could finish her sentence.
We both laughed and I let the thought of the interaction pass by.
"It was only brief anyway. I'm sure I'll see him again but who cares" I continued.

I finished my homework up for the rest of the day and got a text from my friend Luca, a friend from Italy who was visiting England.
"Hey Kallias, wanna hit up town later?"
"Yes lets do it, Goodman's Bar?" I replied.
At the same time of me replying, I received a notification from our program coordinator Anna,
"Hi everyone! Happy Thursday! We will be meeting tomorrow at 4pm to discuss our group tour for Saturday. Make sure to bring questions!"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I completely forgot about that group tour tomorrow. Honestly I needed a calendar, a personal assistant, and a bottle of wine. I glanced over at the clock. It was only 3pm. Maybe I could finish some homework. Or apply to internships or-
