Alone, I contemplate my destiny,
A somber waltz with phantoms in my mind,
A whisper, faint, that lingers as I wait and see,
A memory of my demise now intertwined.
The hands of time, they deftly shift and turn,
In my heart, a melancholic song plays,
Each fleeting moment, a lesson to learn,
A brief existence, consumed by endless days.
But as the sun sets on this earthly plane,
And darkness envelops my very soul,
I find comfort in death's constant refrain,
Embracing it as part of life's grand whole.
For in remembering my final breath,
I find beauty in accepting death.
