Assalamu 'Alaykum.

Before we proceed with the next topic, I'd like to mention something regarding the previous update, Mature Scenes & Pornography. I said there are some Muslim authors who are excessive in writing intimate scenes between their characters. However, let me tell you there are authors - Muslim authors - who describe sexual intercourse. Allahul Must'aan.

There is one particular story that I read years ago, a Muslim story. The story had free mixing but to my old self, the story was nowhere near Haram until I reached a chapter after their marriage. Wallahi, that chapter itself was only about sexual intercourse. Astagfirullah. Way to ruin the whole story in just one blow. Ya Akhwaati, Ittaqillah. Fear Allah, where is your modesty?

I suppose the story is still there, and I hope the author had gained her senses back and removed that part otherwise, may Allah guide her.

Scholars have called Pornography a desease and it is forbidden in Islam to watch, see or read it.

Zina (adultery) does not refer only to penetration, rather there is 1- the zina of the hand, 2- the zina of the eyes, and 3- the zina of the tongue, even though zina that is committed with the private parts, is the zina which is punishable with the hadd in Islam.

Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah has decreed for every son of Adam his share of zina, which he will inevitably commit. The zina of the eyes is looking, the zina of the tongue is speaking, one may wish and desire, and the private parts confirm that or deny it.” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 5889; Muslim, 2657)

Be cautious, for you will be asked about it, you will be held accountable for what you did.

It was narrated from Salim bin 'Abdullah that his father said:

"The Messenger of Allah said: "There are three at whom Allah will not look on the Day of Resurrection: The one who disobeys his parents, the woman who imitates men in her outward appearance, and the cuckold.

[Sunan an-Nasa'i, 2562]

This trait is absolutely common among Muslim books. The Cuckold, Dayyoth, is the one who has no protective jealousy over his womenfolk. I.e. a father, brother or husband doesn't care if their daughter, sister or wife goes out without proper Hijab, or that she talks with strangers, befriends them and so on.

A man who allows/asks his wife or any woman he is responsible for to leave the house without Hijab. Who likes to show his wife's beauty off to his friends and male family. Who does not become jealous over and who permits his wife to engage in friendships and conversations with other men. Such commands of the Dayooth should not be obeyed.

Rather, they have no problem with what their women is doing.

For example there is a famous Muslim book on Wattpad. There's a part where the female lead is seated between her sister and a non-Muslim guy - who is her so called friend btw. While the female lead's brother is driving the car.

Couldn't author have seated her beside her brother? Would it change the so called story plot?

This is absolute nonsense, yet the author has audacity to describe female lead as 'devoted' Muslimah.

Fear Allah, Wallahi fear Allah.

There is another Muslim book where the brother nor the father has any problem with their girl being with a Non-Mahram guy.

Such books are justified by their authors as:

- 'just a fiction'. So? That's not a green flag for you to portrait Haram as something okay to do. This is in fact a stupid mindset authors have created in their head. Does Allah not observe you while you're on your desk and writing your book? Of course, without a doubt He ﷻ does observe no matter wherever you are. Does your Lord does not see what your hand is writing down? Without a doubt, He does! So take heed, you're not alone.

- 'this book is not representative of Islam'. Then drop it, drop the 'Muslim' title, drop the 'islamic love story' title. Being representative of Islam and going against the commands of Allah are two completely different things. If your book does not represent Islam then it is okay for you to write whatever you wish?

- 'Islam is perfect, Muslims aren't'. The same old statement. Ya akhawaat, a normal Muslim book where characters does not do free mixing, stay away from each other as much as they can, strive to become better - is not perfection.

You cannot call a striving Muslim a perfect Muslim, cause he's not.

Trying to stay away from sins, minor or major is not called perfection. Get this in your head, please.

Prophet ﷺ said 'Allah will not look at three on the Day of Judgement'. May Allah protect us.

Look at the severity of this statement. That's how evil and vile a cuckold is, that Allah, the Exalted will not even look at them. Yet, authors continue to give this vile characteristic to their characters.

May Allah grant us understanding of the Deen and guide us.
