Assalamu 'Alaykum.
A beautiful reflection for those who practice the actions of disbelievers whilst calling themselves Muslims. Please pay heed, my brothers and sisters.
During a recent lecture of Dhul-Hijjah course, our Makki teacher was explaining a famous foundational Hadith as it relates to the Hajj Rites. In one of the lectures, our teacher taught us seven instances in the Hajj where our beloved Prophet ﷺ opposed the Hajj practices of Disbelievers, the actions that they used to perform in Hajj, like doing Tawaf (circulating around the Ka'abah) naked, not going to the Arafah and so on.
He ﷺ did exactly the opposite of what they used to do and abolished all of their actions.
Not only that, he ﷺ opposed the Jews and Christians in their actions.
On Wattpad and on other places, may Allah rectify our conditions, what do you see majority of Muslims here doing?
Adopting actions of the Disbelievers.
• Celebrating birthday - Non-Muslim.
• Wearing blouse and pants - Non-Muslim.
• Intermingling with opposite genders - Non-Muslim.
• Writing stories of the disbelievers with pleasure, alpha books etc - Non Muslim.
• Muslim title/non-Muslim content.
Allahul Musta'aan, may Allah rectify our affairs. Allahu Akbar.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"You will follow the ways of those nations who were before you, span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e., inch by inch) so much so that even if they entered a hole of a mastigure, you would follow them."
We said, "O Allah's Messenger ﷺ ! (Do you mean) the Jews and the Christians?" He said, "Whom else?"
[Sahih al-Bukhari, 7320]
Pay heed! He ﷺ already warned us of this, Subhan Allah.
By Allah, brothers and sisters, our religion is absolutely complete and perfect and unique.
Islam is unique from every aspect and perfect.
It is heartbreaking to see our Muslim brothers and sisters shouting their love for Islam while their actions are conveying something else entirely.
May Allah help us all and pull us out from the darkness of the ignorance into light of authentic knowledge of Islam.
