Assalamu 'Alaykum.

وَأَن تَقُولُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ.

and to say about Allāh what you do not know. [Al-Baqarah 2:169]

Imam Sa'adi Rahimahullah said in his Tafseer: this includes speaking about Allah's laws and decrees without knowledge.

Further, he said; one of the most serious kinds of speaking about Allah without knowledge is misinterpreting His Words or those of His Messenger ﷺ in such a way that coincides with the interpretation of some misguided group, then saying this is what Allah meant.

[End quote from Tafseer Saadi, ]

Qatadah said: do not say "I saw" when you did not see, or say "I heard" when did not hear, or "I know" when you do not know, for verily Allah will question you about all of that.

What we may conclude from their comments is that Allah forbids speaking without knowledge; in fact He forbids speculation or suspicion, which is based on imagination.

[Tafseer ibn Katheer, 5/75]

Whoever speaks without knowledge (daleel; authenticity) then verily he's following his desires.

[Ibn Abil-'Izz] |[Explanation of Aqeedah at-Tahawiyah, pg. 385]

Muslim writers should pay heed to this serious matter.

Majority of authors defend their books by saying they do not represent Islam through their book. Here's the reality dear authors, you may be at peace by saying this statement that your book does not represent Islam but Uqsim billāh, these are the same books which speaks about Allah without knowledge. They speak about Allah's commands, such as Hijab, without knowledge, they represent the wrong Hijaab, they bring the practises of Disbelievers into their books. Subhan Allah!

If this is what your statement "my book does not represent Islam" entails, then - may Allah have mercy upon this Ummah and guide us to the straight path.

May Allah protect us.
