It was just a regular day in Beacon Academy, students went to their respective destinations as teams interacted and socialized. There where hiccups here and there with the occasional case of injustice or personal drama, however overall everything seemed harmonious on the surface level, painting the scene expected of what Vale would proudly state is their Beacon of light. But while the majority of the academy was having a relatively relaxing time, the headmaster himself where having the exact oposite.

Situated in his clockwork themed office, the ancient wizard sat in his comfy office chair with his mysteriously everlasting mug resting on his desk in front of him, the rhythmic sound of clicking permeating the area as the massive gears situated on the top of the room turned in a set pattern. Everything was still, calm, harmonious, however in stark contrast to the serene atmosphere stood the mounting stress which Ozpin internally felt. It had been three months since team STQ's encounter with "The Hermit" and ever since then Qrow had been sent on an all out investigation for the individual, with Ozpin deciding to put faith in Ironwood's forces and focusing on the threat that was currently in their Kingdom rather than sending him out to deal with a threat that was relatively far away.

While Ozpin didn't expect it to be an easy endeavor, the small amount of information he actually obtained after such a long time only helped to contribute to his ever mounting stress. Then again, stress was part of the job, and it would be weird if he wasn't used to the feeling after thousands of years, which was why despite having the weight of the world on his shoulders at all times he was able to appear relaxed in his office chair waiting for the report from Qrow after finishing with his duties, silently ignoring the ever encroaching feeling off having everything around him derail, provided oh so kindly by his instinct honed through several lifetimes of experience and struggle.

It had become a sort of routine now to put his Scroll on his desk while doing something else, usually brooding, waiting to receive his long awaited call, however after such a long time he didn't expect for this day to be any different, though he certainly hoped it was. So when the long awaited sound of his Scroll ringing registered in his mind he very quickly grabbed it and joined the encrypted call.

Ozpin: "After such a long time I hope you have some considerable information with you."

Qrow: "Relax Oz, I know I haven't exactly been the most 'chatty' as of late but trust me, you'd be surprised just how little information there actually is out there, it's only after three months that I've been able to scrounge enough things together to make it worth reporting. Now then, I've got some good things, more bad things, and all things concerning, now which one do you want first?"

Ozpin: "I could go for some uplifting. How about we start with the bad so that we can end on a good note."

Qrow: "All right then, if that's your poison. So, according to a lot of separate sources there seems to be an all out conquest with the underworld of the Solitas and Anima continent. Now that alone is shitty enough, but it get shittier when I found out that they actually seem to be winning.
