11|Iron Trials: Part II

Kiara was out for a test flight on her very much in-progress suit, when she heard the alarm sound that was a clear signal something was wrong. She flew back to the house at once and she cried out in shock.

She saw that Obadiah Stane was holding her dad's Arc Reactor in his hands and Kiara flew through the window in a blind rage, slamming into him and she sent him tumbling away.

"You get away from my father, you son of a bitch!" She roared and he was holding up a device, but her weapons sent him tumbling before he could be able to activate anything.

Obadiah Stane fled the house before Kiara could pursue, as she helped up her dad. "Dad, just hang on." She said as she picked him up and with the suit on, it was like barely lifting any sort of weight at all. "Jarvis! Override code 51258! All doors open!" She shouted as the AI gladly did so as she was able to bring him downstairs to the lab and D.U.M.M.Y gave her the trophy.

Tony smashed it onto the ground in order to give himself a few minutes or even more, as Kiara changed out of her new suit and went straight into the old one.

"Dad, I'm going after Obadiah!" She warned and suddenly there was a gun pointed straight at her helmet and her eyes widened.

"Take off the suit! Now!" Rhodey demanded and Kiara's breath caught in her throat, as her suit opened up to reveal her in it. "Kiara?" He asked as she nodded. "Never mind my words from before. You should get back in the suit if you are really thinking of going after Obadiah." Rhodey suggested and she nodded.

"You got it, Colonel." Kiara said with her familiar flippant tone, as her suit was closing around her once again as Tony got up and limped over to his own suit. "Dad... can you do this?" She asked and he looked at her.

"I'm selfish. I shouldn't be sending an 11 year old kid into battle with a guy who is my problem." Tony said as she walked over with thudding steps.

"Dad. You aren't sending me into anything, you understand me? I am willingly walking into this. Now, let's go!" She said and she flew up through the hole in the roof, as a few moments later, Tony took off after her and they were flying off toward the main Stark Industries building complex. "Does he have his own suit?" She asked.

"I don't know, kiddo. But considering that he wanted my Arc Reactor technology, I am assuming, that the answer to your question is a yes." Tony stated and Kiara was angrily growling, as they flew through the air.

Carter was already fighting after Pepper called him first and he was being crushed under Obadiah's massive suit and he was shouting in pain. "Carter!" Kiara shouted as she was diving at Obadiah with a shout of fury.

"Stane!" Tony shouted at the same time as they both plowed their suits into Obadiah's like battering rams at the speeds that they were going and they were flung out of Stark territory and onto the highway.

Kiara was dragging Carter out of the line of fire, leaving him right there with Agent Phil Coulson and the others. When she heard her dad shouting, Kiara spun around and then, she charged across the highway to the combat in the air.

"Leave my dad alone!" Kiara roared with fury in her voice and at the anger, both of her flight stabilizers fired at the same time, sending Stane's suit stumbling backwards a few steps, but it was only just enough so that Tony could get his suit out from under the feet of the massive Iron Monger suit.

"Take us both to the maximum altitudes! We need to get him angry and now, he can fly!" Kiara sounded panicked understandably, as Obadiah was following them into the sky as he had more power then Tony did.
