" What kind of workshop is this, Gina?" Ember asks as we enter the building.
" Photography." She says, " Simple and Easy."

" Let's hope we're roommates." Ember conveys to Gina.

" Wait so I'm gonna be roommates with a complete stranger?" I fear.
" It won't be that bad." Gina says portaying a loose gesture with her hand.

Gina and Ember go to the girls living and I go to the boys. I check the SMS the workshop sent me.
'Room 208.'
The door has my name with it along with a dude named-
Dylan.
I open the door with the QR the sms sent me.

There's a cigarette on the table and

A boy wearing a lecture jacket.

He instantly finds me familiar.
He smirks.
" punch guy,right?"
I remain silent not knowing how to react.

" Who punched you this hard?" Gina asks looking how deep the black eye is.
Ember treats me with the first aid.
We're at the park outside the hotel.
The students of this workshop are gonna meet tomorrow morning apparently before the sunrise.

I see Dylan walk out of the door and he looks at me, our eyes lock.
His eyes move towards Ember and then Gina. His eye brows raise and it angers me.
He walks towards us.
" How's your eye?" He asks me.
Ember turns around and her eyes widen just like how Gina's eyes do.

Not gonna lie, His hair is attractive and his style but I still can't see it all after knowing what he did.
" You punched him, didn't you?" Gina accuses.
Dylan shrugs. Ember signs very loudly.

" Nice shirt." He tells Ember gesturing to her yellow tank top tied to her waist.
He gets closer and it angers me.
Before I know it my reflex acts up, I end up kicking his stomach.

" What the hell man, whose boyfriend are you?" He cries.

Gina looks at the lad fallen and kicks his waist.
" None of your business!"
She gestures us to follow her.
" I need fresh air." She whines.
We catch a bus.

Gina sits behind us, she didn't even worry or ask about us. She just wanted to sit with the baby.
Ember can't help but look and smile.
I love her smile.
She notices me observing her.
" I always wanted to be a mother." She giggles.
I nod, " Is your relationship with your mom that good?" I ask, " if you don't mind me asking-"

" No, not at all." She shakes her head with a smile.
" My dad was always finding faults in me to leave my mom." She starts venting.
" It was like really tough and all with him.
He was monster to both me and my mom. But my mom wasn't on my team either." She pauses. " I can't call her a bad or toxic mom, she's provided me with resources, good food, education, always got me the books I wanted and all but she was never there for the emotional parts."

" She threw more tantrums then I could ever, I had no space for mine. She used me as her punching bag. I mean can I blame her?"

" As a daughter I can love her but as Ember? I don't know. My dad left when I was in middle school and I had no siblings."

" You're a strong girl." I tell her.
She laughs.
" Why'd you keep going back to Dylan?"
I suddenly have the balls to ask.
" I don't know, the way I thought he showed love was not common for me. I don't know. Male affection is just warm to me. Like you won't believe me but I have seven exes but I promise you I'm not a red flag."

My jaw drops, " Seven exes?!"

She tells me all about them, all of them just wanted her for her body and it's disgusting. Purely disgusting.
But me and Ember could have so much more.

" This lake is BEAUTIFUL." Gina expresses.

Ember has her feet under the water, I sit close to her and after a few seconds I place my head on her lap.
She smiles.
I love this smile better, because I am the reason of this smile.

The sun sets and we adore it together. Gina is taking pictures of the sunset and of course clicks a few of us.
She just doesn't mind being the third wheel.

" So like If I date you, you won't mind me wearing revealing clothes?" She asks me.

" I'm no one to tell you what to wear, you don't need another bad daddy." I laugh.
" Plus you hit too hard." I add.
She mutters under her breath ' You're a good daddy for that protective kick." And moves on,
" Would you tell Helen and Claire if we date?" I ask her.

" I'd tell Claire and Helen? That lady called me a slut, so no way."

" Dylan's my roommate though." I finally tell her.

" Gina will do a good job taking care of that." She's confidential and that's cool.

Gina really took care of that well.
She got Dylan's room exchanged and then suspended for the punch he threw.
They didn't have proof of my kick and even if they did, it was a kick of self defence.

Id say I'm tired and have morning fatigue but I was too excited to spend time with Ember.

The guide keeps on chattering but no one is listening. Everyone keeps on taking pics by their given free temporary cameras.
Even Ember is so Jovial. She's clicks pictures of the sun with such Avidity.such fervour.

And I take a picture of her. She's my sun, if I was a moon. Cause she shines on me. She makes me glow and beautiful.
Her smile makes me glow,
Her presence right now is a compliment that isn't said but shown.
I love her.

" Guys." Gina interrupts.
" I'm sorry I had to enrol us out of this workshop." , " Dylan kinda messed things up a bit."

Ember tosses her Workshop id card in the bin. " It was shitty anyway, just get my clicks printed."
And walks away to get her stuff.
Gina shrugs, " My roommate stinks anyway."
I had the worst roommate. " Get mine printed as well but don't show anyone." I tell her.

I take my stuff out.
My phone beeps. It's Seth.
It's an invite to his brother's wedding to which I'm obviously not going.

"You're coming." Ember says.
" Why?" I wonder.
" Claire wants me to come there since she's invited, she insisted Seth to sent me an invitation as well." She says naggingly.
" I don't want to go without you plus I want cake."
Her excuse his pathetic but she's adorable admirable and command able.
" Fine."
She claps in relish and

Hugs me so tight and so candidly.
It's the best hug I've ever got, and the best way she's ever touched me.
Not by lust but love.
