Malachi
Bri finally responded to my text and just as I thought, she decided to take a step back. I arrived home, upset and ready to let off some steam. I usually would call Bri for that but that had been put on hold, thanks to Rianne. I couldn't believe she would pull a stunt like she did. I wanted to dial Amanda and let her know what happened, but I realized she would be on her date with Miranda.
I decided to take a shower and whack one off. The water ran hot as it saturated my hair; I closed my eyes and envisioned Bri touching me slowly across my chest. I wanted to be with her, I want to feel her, I want to make her mine. Something seemed strange though, as I let the water spray over my face, releasing all of the tension in my body. I still wondered who the guy was that showed up at the restaurant.
Bri seemed to know him and she left with him as well. Was he an ex-boyfriend? Did he follow her? I had so many questions, I wanted to speak to her to get things straight. I was so focused on trying to figure out everything on my own, I couldn't masturbate. Honestly, I wasn't in the mood because I couldn't hear Bri's voice. This shit didn't make sense.
She hadn't called me and she didn't give me any indication of when she would either. She didn't even answer the phone when I called. I was out here winging it again. I couldn't even go back to Erika if I wanted to, she had simply disappeared. I wouldn't even know where to begin to find her.
I was at a loss.
Rianne just couldn't leave shit alone.
Weeks passed and I hadn't heard much from Bri. She would respond politely when I would say good morning and that I missed her voice. I missed her laugh. She would always send back a laughing emoji which made me smile. I wanted to talk to her so bad, I didn't want to push the issue.
The Spring Gala was coming up about a week away. Things at work had finally come to a head when Rianne and Shelby were both at the office when I arrived. Rianne was leaning on Shelby's desk as they talked. Rianne straightened up as I got closer to my office.
"Malachi, finally you're here. I need to talk to you." Rianne stood up and looked at me. I didn't respond to her, just staring at her and making it very uncomfortable. She started looking around and looked at Shelby. My gaze turned to Shelby.
"Shelby," She straightened up immediately. "You may collect your things, you are terminated." She gasped and held her chest.
"Malachi, aren't you being a little bit unreasonable right now?" Rianne stepped in front of me.
"Rianne. Please. I know how to handle individuals who leak my personal information to others." I looked directly at Rianne. Her face dropped immediately.
"But I...I...she...she...," Shelby stammered and pointed at Rianne.
"You do not work for Ms. Rianne Barker. You are my employee. I have an NDA with all of my employees, do you know what that means?" I asked. Rianne covered her mouth and turned away.
Shelby looked bewildered. Of course, she didn't know. She was one of the many employees who sign a bunch of documents when they take a really nice job, without reading all of the fine print you are required to sign in order to take the position. My employees have an NDA which means anything and everything that has to do with me or my company, the entire business is private. And if anything is leaked out, I could sue them for everything they have.
"Shelby, it means I can take you to court for releasing my personal and private information." Her eyes widened and she looked at Rianne who grimaced as she looked at Shelby nodding in agreement.
"I suggest you pack up your things and go quietly. I will pay you for the remainder of the month." She looked defeated as she grabbed a copy paper box and began filling it with her personal items.
