This time, I headed straight to Charles' room. I remembered where it was, so knocked on the door and waited. Within a minute Charles opened the door, pulled me inside, shut the door and pushed me up against it, continuing the kiss that we left off in the club.
"You kept me waiting." He grumbled, pulling away slightly then returning to my lips.
I slightly pushed him back to respond. "Sorry, I didn't realise you left straight after and I didn't want to make the boys any more suspicious of me."
"What do you mean, any more suspicious?" Charles queeried.
"Lando and George grilled me about where I had been when I got back - Don't worry I didn't tell - and then the girls took me to the bathroom and grilled me again. I gave an excuse to the girls to leave because there would've been no way Pierre or Lando would've let me leave before I had embarrassed myself sufficiently enough for them." I rambled. Charles grinned at me and I felt myself swoon slightly and couldn't believe I was letting myself openly feel like this towards him.
"The door is nice and all, but could we maybe move?" I chuckled and Charles pulled away, the absense of his closeness leaving me with a chill. I wanted to pull him back in, but didn't want to come across as clingy or desperate. We wandered over to the sofa in the main room and collapsed onto it, our relationship (or whatever it was) still too fresh for me to sit super close to him.
"You said we should talk about what we are and how we go about it earlier..." I started.
"Yeah we should." Charles said. "I'm happy to keep this private for as long as you want."
"I really appreciate that Charles," I smiled at him and he took my hand. "You also suggested dating someone else to cover up earlier, but I dont want you doing that. I don't want to see you with anyone else."
"I knew you wouldn't like seeing me with Alexa." Charles smirked
"Omg, were you with her just to make me jealous?!" Charles shrugged nonchalantly, still smirking. "God Leclerc"
"Oi - only first names now." Charles retorted.
"Ugh fine - God Charles. Better?"
"Much. Ok you won't see me with other girls, and I'm expecting no other boys."
"Of course, I'm not a hypocrite."
"How do we act on track?" He asked and I took a minute to think because I knew this is where it would get complicated.
"Mmmmm," I hummed outloud. "Let's say if we have a chance to be private then we're private so it's fine - but no risks. If there's any chance someone sees us clearly being coupley then we don't take that risk."
"So we're a couple now?" Charles smirked and raised an eyebrow.
"No no. No we aren't. We're not a couple. Just in the sense that... you know what I mean." I said, my face going red.
"No I don't know. Please explain it to me Edom." I thought Charles was done with intentionly pissing me off but I guess not. I shifted slightly in my seat, uncomfortable.
"Well we aren't a couple but I guess we're more than friends now?" I made it a question incase I was wrong.
Charles laughed "You're so cute when you get in a fluster."
"Fuck off." I laughed out of embarrassment, lightly hitting him on the arm.
"Yes, I'd say we're more than friends" Charles returned to the topic and his answer filled me with relief. "I guess we'll see where this takes us then. I hope it takes us far; I really care for you Edom." If I hadn't been sitting down, my knees would've definitely buckled.
