Leonardo's POV:

As my brothers and I snuck back into the lair, I couldn't help but think of the two girls.

We had been seen, and we took care of it. But I still failed to shake the guilt I felt for putting my family in danger.

Another emotion was buried within me, something I didn't recognize at first. Something I should not be feeling.

Attraction.

The younger girl, Y/n, I think it was. She was shockingly beautiful. The way her wavy brown hair fell perfectly around her shoulders, her sharp jawline and soft eyes. I never realized I had a type until now.

Stop it, Leo. I mentally scold myself for thinking such thoughts and letting my human hormones get to me. You're a ninja for gods sake. A mutant one, at that.

My brothers would not quit bickering, shushing each other quite loudly.

"Guys." I hiss under my breath. "You're gonna get us caught."

"Guys if it wasn't already obvious with the girl in the yellow." Mikey whispers, ignoring my pleas for quiet. "Dibs!"

"Shh!" I order, aggressively pressing my finger to my lips.

"Don't worry, we all know you have dibs on the shortie." Mikey smirks.

I glare, perusing my lips. "If Splinter catches us, we're going back to the Ha' Shi."

"I ain't goin back to the Ha' Shi." Raph growls.

I palm his face, giving it a shove. "Every time we end up in the Ha' Shi it's because of you!"

Raph returns the favor, pushing my face away.

Suddenly, I hear Donnie's voice rise. "Guys? We got a bogey."

I freeze, the sudden click of a flashlight alerting me that our dad had caught us. Great.

"Where were you?" Splinter seethes.

After a moment of silence, his tail whips around my legs, knocking me to the ground. I watch quietly as he does the same to my brothers.

"Nobody is going to talk? Fine then." The pause was deafening, myself already knowing what he was going to say. "To the Ha' Shi!"

The four of us groan, getting to our feet and following our father.

I would not break.

Your POV:

The walk home was quiet. Neither of you spoke a word, both of you swimming in your own thoughts. The silence, however, had disappeared as soon as the two of you entered your apartment.

"I've heard those names before." April says flatly, making a beeline for the closet. You sigh, flopping onto the couch, exhaustion taking over. From the constant panic you were in due to how high up you were, you became tired.

April, on the other hand, was fueled by curiosity. She pulls out an office box, rummaging through it. She pulls out a camera, pressing play on the video she saw first.

"Leonardo."

"Raphael."

"Donatello."

"Michelangelo"

"Splinter."

"Eat up guys! Pizza, your favorite!"
