It's true, fresh eyes always see more. Elliot and Nate were upstairs in the kitchen arguing and cooking breakfast as the four of us sat in the Batcave downstairs. Hardison went to work trying to decrypt the last of it as Sophie sat at the other monitors. Her job was deciding what went to Interpol and what we kept. She was usually the best person for a job like that. Sophie was good at being analytical.

Me and Parker sat in the oversized beanbag I so often slept in when I first got here. She's just as fond of it as I am so I've resigned to sharing it. I guess it's what it means to have a sister. I watched her face light up as she scrolled through documents marking the ones she wanted. Her job was figuring out where else he had money and things we could steal. A job she also was highly skilled in.

Then there's my job, the flash drives. My current objective is to make a list of most to least dangerous and then a secondary list of easiest and hardest to get to currently. Nate could then choose who to target first and we could make a plan. He was the best person for that job. He has his faults but he's a highly skilled team leader and grifter. We'd be nothing without him.

"Oh my god." The words took the breath from my lungs. I sat staring at the name and face before me. My mind couldn't process the words as everyone's attention turned to me. No words left my mouth no matter how hard I tried to speak.

"Kara, are you okay? What's going on?" I heard Sophie's voice over the ringing in my ears as she looked over at me.

"Let me see." Parker gently took the laptop from me and turned it to Hardison. "Who is that?"

"Oh my god, that's Kayte's father. He worked for Moroe." Hardison's voice rang out confirming what I'd just seen.

"Fuck, fuck fuck fuck! Goddammit! Everyone start packing we're out of here by sundown. Now!" I shouted before leaping up from my spot.

"What's the shouting about?" Nate called out sticking his head down the stairs as I went running up past him.

"We're burned. The house, we gotta go." Hardison explained trotting up after me.

"Kara what's going on?" Elliot asked grabbing my shoulders as I started to sob. He looked so desperately confused at my tears while I did my best to form words.

"It was a lie, everything was a lie. Kayte was a lie!" I stuttered through sobs.  My world was crashing down around me again. The only thing I had was gone. The only true thing in my life has been a lie.

"Someone needs to fill me in here." Elliot shouted holding me up as I sobbed. He was the only thing keeping me from hitting the floor.

Hardison filled him in as everyone else started loading essentials into Lucile, me and Parker's van and the truck. Parker and I carefully packed up our dragon hoard as fast as we could. Parker made sure to pack my bear, in my panic and upset I would've left it. Hardison made sure all of the hard drives we stole as well as the ones from my equipment were safely tucked away.

It was a team effort to clear out. Sophie packed everyone's clothes and personal belongings, we didn't want her doing any heavy lifting in her current condition. I sobbed through everything. What hurt the most were the photos, I had so few of my past life, but so many of me and Kayte, her and my daughter. Those hurt the most. Her parents were there when she was born, through everything.

"Take the photos. You'll regret leaving them." Parker peered over my shoulder looking down at them before point to Jaclyn. "Is that your baby in the pictures?"

"Yeah, it is." I whispered as my tears bounced off the plastic sleeves.

"She died didn't she?" She asked picking up the box with all of her mementoes gently looking through it.
