Just to Clarify: Beaumont didn't mean to win. It's not his fault that he has spent his teenage years, pretending to be a different age so he knows how to play all the games in the  towns pub. Evelyn and Beaumont had to run into the pub to get away from the pouring rain for awhile and decided to have childish competitions.

Let's just say both of them are very competitive.

"First to drink three shots, gets to make the loser do anything they want." Evelyn said with a teasing grin.

"Anything?" Beaumont asked.

"Anything." Evelyn replied, nodding her head.

Beaumont smirked, "You're on."

"I'm going to regret this, aren't I?" Evelyn asked, huffing slightly.

"Most likely." Beaumont replied, as Robert, the bartender placed six shots infront of Evelyn and Beaumont.

"Robby, give us a count down." Evelyn said, getting ready to start with anticipation.

"Alright." Robert said, watching the couple turn towards one another and narrow their eyes. "Three, two, one!"

In an instant, both Beaumont and Evelyn were grabbing at the shots. They don't know what flavour it was until the bittersweet liquor hits their tongue and they both cringe. But they don't stop, and one by one downed it, Beaumont finishing the last shot just before Evelyn.

"Guess who won?" Beaumont teased, leaning forward towards her. "And guess who lost princess?"

"You're a sore winner." Evelyn said, trying to look upset, but seeing Beaumont being so happy and carefree, she couldn't help but smile.

"That I am." Beaumont agreed, grinning widely. "Now, where's my prize?"

"What do you want?" Evelyn asked with soften eyes.

"Kiss me." Beaumont replied instantly, drunkly.

"What?" Evelyn asked, not sure if she heard Beaumont right.

"Kiss me princess." Beaumont replied, "I won, and for my prize, I want a kiss."

Evelyn pauses, staring at him between the eyes before making her decision. "Fine" Evelyn said, standing infront of Beaumont. She slowly started to lean in, and just as Beaumont and her lips were about to touch, Evelyn turned her face and kissed Beaumont on the cheek, "There."

"No." Beaumont said grumpily, "That's not what I asked."

"You asked for a kiss, and I gave you a kiss."Evelyn replied, slowly backing away with a clenched jaw.

She's not going to kiss him when they both have alcohol in their systems. She so desperately wants to kiss him but she wants it to be meaningful. This moment may be but she doesn't want to be under the influence. She wants the moment to be pure and real.

'I'll wait.' She thought to herself.

"No, you know that was not what I asked for." Beaumont said with a whine.

"Well next time, be specific. " Evelyn giggled, running away.

"Where are you going?" Beaumont asked, furrowing his brows at her retreating form.

"Playing pool!" Evelyn yelled back, "I bet I can beat you on pool."

"Oh you're on." Beaumont  said, running after Caroline, "And this time, I'm getting that kiss."

An hour passes by with both Evelyn and Beaumont playing several games of pool and each time the latter always won. But Evelyn was confident that she will win abs she continued every single time for a rematch. She didn't give up.
