Just to Clarify: After Beaumont and Evelyn's moment at the festival two days ago, they felt closer than ever. But it felt like the world didn't want the pair to end up together for another drastic day. And Beaumont wished that Evelyn had stayed a second later for him to explain.

Before his mother died, she had a friend called Rowena who had a young girl, four years younger than Beaumont. He would consider her more as a little sister than a friend but it just so happens that his mother and Rowena had conspired plenty of times to get their children to hang out.

Even if they were only kids, their parents believed that they were destined to end up together. What they didn't know years later, Angela, Rowena daughter ended up liking the opposite of what she is grown up to like.

Beaumont of course, loved her even more to being herself and haven't stopped hanging out with each other whenever they get the chance too. You see, Angela had a huge fall out with her mother about her sexuality who is a full raised Christian.

She couldn't stand that her daughter doesn't follow God's beliefs and deemed her daughter as a sin. Angela left her home right when she turned eighteen and never looked back but she did however, paid Beaumont a visit before she left. She surprises him every few weeks and stays with him for a night but stays away from her mother.

He always tries to get her pay her parents a visit, they always ask him every Sunday like clockwork has he heard from their young sweet girl. He always feels utterly guilty when he replies that he hasn't. They would walk away with Rowena mumbling prayers until her breath for the return of her daughter.

Today, it so happens that Angela paid Beaumont a visit while he was at the diner beside his bookstore for breakfast. He was meant to meet up with Evelyn who isn't coming for another hour as he wanted to get a awhile with himself as he had another nightmare the night before.

So, when Beaumont was writing in his journal he heard the bell ring throughout the diner but didn't bother to glance towards the entrance. He continued to scribble words down about his nightmare as he sips his coffee cup with a sorrowful look.

"Hey, is anyone sitting here?" He heard a voice asked but he was too far in his head that he didn't hear the familiar voice.

"Yeah go ahea-" He turned his head to look up towards the person standing there. "No, are you blind that you can't see the overbearing figure of my crippling depression sitting there?" He sarcastically spoke, grinning up towards the black skinned girl.

Her eyes lit up, while forming a small smirk. She sits down beside him, sitting on his depressed double of himself. She just flatten Beaumont's friend. "Wow, still sarcastic and cute. A double threat as usual." She wolf whistled, before a big smile breaks out on his face.

"Angel." He whispers, turning his chair slightly to pull her into a bone crushing hug. She giggles into his neck, wrapping her arms around his neck with a soft sigh.

"Hi, Monty." She teases, pulling back from him with a grin.

"I always hated that nickname." He cringes, nudging her arm away from him.

"Sucks for you, I'm never gonna live it down." She winked, placing her bag on the ground while leaning her elbow on the counter with her fist on her cheek.

"I missed you." Beaumont says, letting out a sigh, showing her, his truth facade. She's the only one, other than Evelyn nowadays that can allow him to be himself. She instantly grows concerned, finally noticing his sleepy eyes and being slightly more paler.

"What happened, Beaumont?" She questioned worriedly, reaching her free hand to rest on his hand and giving him a squeeze.

"It could take hours to explain." Beaumont stated, clenching his jaw.
