Hello people, a few warnings:

- Further ahead there will be a relationship between an adult and a minor, and I must say that I do not support this in real life, it is just a fanfiction I came up with while I was bored.

- The way I wrote Remuse's trauma in this is not based in any psychology. I just went with what my brain came up with. And please remember that people process trauma in very different ways, so I'm sorry if the way I wrote things comes off as unreal.

- Lastly, english is not my first language, so please ignore any grammar errors that I might not have seen.

The death eaters had become a lot more active now that Voldemort had returned, atrocities where being committed all across Britain and dark creatures also felt in the right to act as they pleased. Fenwir Grayback was one of these people who terrorised the wizarding world, and nowadays, he had a goal in mind. There was a boy, now a man, that escaped his claws the first time they met, and the malignant werewolf was set on getting his pray back.

Remus Lupin kept an exceptional low profile, especially now that he knew that the monster who transformed him might be hunting him down. He left his house on very little occasions and even when he did, he came back very shortly after. Today was one of the days he had to leave, Dumbledore called the order of the phoenix to discuss the return of the dark lord and since Sirius was confined to Grimmauld Place, they would use the house as the order headquarters. The werewolf left his house, there was a short walk to a place where it would be safe to apparate from and then he would be safe again. However, he didn't make it, a full body binding curse was thrown at him from behind, he found himself immobile and panic grew on his mind when the voice of the monster he hated most hit his ears.

- You thought you could run from me forever? - Grayback growled when he got close to the fallen wizard - How lucky of me to just be close by when my pray left its hiding spot.

Remus said nothing, he only flinched when a strong hand gripped his arm and yanked him to a standing position, Grayback laughed and sniffed Remuse's neck, successfully sending fear trough out the smaller male's body.

- I didn't do all I wanted before you where taken from me - he continued speaking very close to Remuse's ear - Initially, I was just going to kill you, but looking at you all grown up...

Grayback licked the man's ear, and Remus tried to pull away. He still couldn't do much because of the curse. He was visibly shaking, all the color of his face was gone, and he was terrified. Remus was not stupid. He had an idea of what the other werewolf was talking about. After all, he was famous for raping the people he captured before killing them.

- p-please, n-no - was all he could say before hearing the wizard's maniac laugh and being apparated to god knows where.

At Grimmauld place, Sirius started to worry, Remus should have gotten there two hours ago. It was strange for his friend to miss a meeting from the order, and even if that wasn't happening, the full moon was in a few days and they started to pass trough it together, just like old times. Remus would go to Grimmauld place a few days before his transformation, only to leave a few days after it...

- Dumbledore, may I have a word? - Sirius asked, gesturing to the kitchen. The meeting was already about to start, and there was no sign of Remus.

- Of course, what seems to be the problem? - the old wizard asked once they were in a more private room.

- Remus is still not here - Sirius said concerned - What if something happened? You know that Grayback has been going after the people he turned, what if he got Remus?

- I'm also concerned, Sirius. But for now, it's been too little time. Let's just hope he got late... - Dumbledore said, sounding tired - If he doesn't appear until tomorrow, we will start looking for him.

- Should we tell Harry? He got really close to Remus after third year...

- If he is, in fact, missing, we will tell him. For now, let the boy be free of concern. He had a stressful summer dealing with Mr. Diggory's death, the media, and now the dementors...
