TW: For those who might have these fears, a lot of these fears are psychological and emotional mostly instead of physical, mentions of abandonment, doubt in a parent's love and fears of growing up and failing, along with religious themes.)

Ratigan

Fear: Deep water

Harper doesn't know how to swim, Ratigan never taught her because he didn't think she'd ever need to swim amongst the dirty city water since she's a pristine, clean mouse of course, only Rats swim in that stuff. As a result, Harper never learned and is afraid of deep water now, she won't even go in if Chewie swam and she rode on his back. It also bothers her how she often can't see the bottom of the body of water, even if she could see it, still, just no.

Ratigan sometimes felt guilt that he never taught her but then again, it's not like she'll need to swim in that filthy water, so he didn't bother with it.

Chernabog

Fear: Thunder and Lighting

There isn't much to be afraid of when you're the daughter of Chernabog and you spend every night with ghouls and demons and the hell fire of the underworld but despite all that, Bellona was terrified of Thunder and Lightning storms. Flashes of light, the loud booming, the rain that made everything all wet. She wouldn't partake in any of the nightly activities, Chernabog understood this and would gently wrap his wing around her to let her hide, nice and dry and safe in there as long as she wanted while he did the usual nightly activities. She was usually shaking but would eventually fall asleep, comforted by her father's warm protective wing.

Scar

Fear: being left alone in an unknown place

When Romeo was just a small cub, his mother sort of left him and never seemed to come back, this implemented something in Romeo, he was pretty independent and knew his way home but if he ever ventured to a new place, he always went with his father or a lioness/lion he trusted. He was afraid of being left there and left unable to find a way home again. Scar was already protective over his son, so he never minded if Romeo chose to stick close to him, almost right under his paws when they were in a different area.

Shere Khan

Fear: being unable to take care of herself

Izzy had always been independent from the start, doing things by herself while being with her father or before her father had even found her. But what kept her up at night were thoughts about what would she do if her father wasn't around anymore? or if it was time to leave the cave and grow up? She still hadn't hunted a lot by herself because, well, her father always seemed to bring dinner home. What if she'll never learn to take care of herself by the time, she's an adult and then she'll be all alone and fail and end up panicking and starving and being a disappointing tiger?

When she'd get in that mindset, she'd do her best to go hunting by herself or beg her father to teach her as much as possible. Shere Khan was happy to do it but wasn't sure why.

Stromboli

Fear: Puppets

It's well known that Leo was terrified of the wooden puppets that his father would make and use. Their slacking mouths, creepy prominent eyes with an icy stare, their movements freaking him out too. and he also fully believes that one day they'll just come alive, he's literally seen it happen with this random puppet that was in a cage in his father's puppet room. The things usually send him into states of panic and anxiety attacks, he avoids them at all costs. Stromboli tries to get him to like them so he can take over the business when he's old enough but alas, nothing. The only puppets that Leo is comfortable with is the soft hand puppets that his mother would perform with.
