Clementine.
He was once my saviour, now he's my captor.
Ezekiel Ambrose doesn't hide who he is. Unlike me he's proud being a monster.
Cruel.
Popular.
Devilishly handsome.
Sinner.

I shouldn't have come here. It was an accident—a mistake.
Scorpion lifts his head from his phone and turns to me, raising a thick brow in my direction.
It's as if he's deciphering my body language, and he laughs, a deep rumble emanating from his chest.
"Don't tell me you're scared, princess."
"I'm not." I lie through gritted teeth. Of course I was scared, but I'd rather him not know that. His eyes fell to my legs. "You're shaking."
My gaze followed his to my buckling kneecaps, which trembled like clumsy church bells. "It's not too late to back out."
I shook my head. "I don't want to back out."
A grin met his lips as he rose a brow. "Someone's feeling prideful today. You do realize that's a sin, right?"
"So is lying," I admitted, remembering I had told Autumn and Cam that I was going to Giselle's.
It wasn't like she'd kill me if she knew I was here. Quite the opposite, actually. In fact, I'm almost positive she would be my number one supporter.
It's just.. I'd rather keep this a secret. Besides, she hates Scorpion, or at least has a strong dislike for him, and thus believes that keeping me away from someone she describes as "Larry" from SpongeBob if he were a human is the best way to go about it.
It'd be even worse if he were to find out I was here. After all, this was my second time coming here.
I don't know what world of delusion he's living in, but he thinks he has some sense of authority over me. These past days, he's been sending me texts nonstop.
I don't answer, obviously. Answering would mean submitting to his charms and that's something I promised myself I would never do ever again.
His charm is wicked, a beguiling concoction that wraps around you like a serpent, its venom luring you in with a hypnotic allure.
It's a magnetic force, drawing you closer with an almost sinister elegance, leaving a trail of captivation in its wake.
It's no surprise that he can get any girl. But why me now? Why after all these years? His entire attitude switched all because of a damn necklace.
Because of it, he expects me to forget everything that he put me through. All the torture, humiliation, degradation. He was supposed to be my protector.
He promised me that when we were children. And now that we've grown, I can finally call out the liar in him.
Ezekiel Ambrose is a liar. The doors leading to the changing rooms swing open, unleashing a burst of light into the dimness of the room.
I'm nearly blinded, and I lift a hand, covering my eyes as they squint against the sudden brightness.
When the sound of the door shutting echoes, bouncing off the walls, I uncover my eyes. My lips part in surprise.
