"Okay, so The Grinch or Polar Express?" Lily asked, messing around with the DVD player because I couldn't understand the muggle device.
"Uhm, the Grinch, obviously. Polar Express is uncanny and weird." I said, getting comfortable on the couch with a bowl of popcorn.
Lily scoffed, placing the DVD into the player, "Don't hate on the best Christmas movie."
I shook my head, "I'm gonna break up with you if you ever say that again, that's disgusting, Lils."
She stood up, her knees cracking, "Don't threaten me."
"Or what?"
Lily walked over and kissed me softly, "Because you love me." She whispered before sauntering off into the kitchen.
I groaned and shook my head, grabbing the remote to the TV, "Rude." I mumbled.
"I heard that!" Lily called from the kitchen.
"Good!"
After a few minutes Lily came back out with two mugs of hot chocolate which she sat on the coffee table and situated herself on the couch. I laid my head onto her chest and she wrapped her arm in front of me, using her free hand to grab some popcorn as she pressed play.
The opening scene played as Lily placed a soft kiss on the top of my head and I smiled.
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
