Before they knew it, Inki’s first birthday was upon them. They threw just a small party, only the pack, Uraraka and Iida, Todoroki, and Inko Midoriya.

They spoiled the baby rotten. Mina and Kirishima had gotten him a new bed, a larger one that actually fit him. Shinsou and Denki had gotten him a toy box that was already full of toys and plushies. Sero had bought him a couple of soft blankets. Uraraka and Iida had brought a cute dresser for his clothes, since Katsuki and Izuku had yet to buy one. Todoroki had brought a small soba plush, and had then handed Izuku almost 200$, claiming he didn’t know how to buy for children. Izuku had tried to give it back, but to no avail. Finally, Inko had brought many outfits for Inki, as well as some for the twins.

Overall, it was a wonderful day that ended out at a park. Inki had crawled around and gotten his clothes all dirty, but Katsuki was right behind him the whole time so he didn’t get hurt.

The day Katsuki went back to work was the hardest day so far. The babies were 3 months old at that point and were growing ever bigger by the day. Katsuki was so absolutely in love with them.

He kissed all three of his children on the heads before he left, then pulled his mate into a kiss, holding him close. He almost decided that his leave could extend another day before Izuku pushed him out of the door, and Kirishima pulled him towards the car.

“He’s gonna be safe, Katsuki. Shinsou and Denki got him. And we’re going to be late if we don’t leave now.” He gently pushed Katsuki towards the car. “You’ll see him in a few hours. When he comes for lunch and to start redecorating, remember?”

“Yeah, yeah, Ei.” Katsuki rolled his eyes and got into the car, although he hated the itch under his skin as they drove away. “My prime is fucking screaming right now.”

And it was. His prime was the loudest it had been in years. He felt like he was going to scream.

Omega. Don’t leave omega. Don’t leave pups. Omega going to get hurt. Pups going to get hurt. Protect omega. Protect pups.

Katsuki let out a breath as Kirishima grabbed his arm, squeezing over the pack mark there. It seemed to quiet his head just a bit.

“It’s gonna be fine, man. Just try to ignore it.”

“Yeah, trying.” Katsuki nodded. It didn’t take long before they arrived at the shop. He got out and slammed the car door to try to calm his nerves. He ran a hand through his hair and walked towards the shop, opening the door.

“Katsu-baby!” Mina shrieked from the counter, throwing her hands into the air. “So happy to see you back hun!”

“Uh-huh, uh-huh, yeah.” He nodded and walked into the kitchen. A few of the regulars smiled as he walked past, but he didn’t say much.

Regardless of his prime screaming in his head all day, it felt great to be back to work. He had missed the methodical cutting, stirring, searing, and plating of the food.

“Katsu, love, I know we don’t do-”

“No modification of food, Sero.” Katsuki said as he flipped the chicken he was currently cooking. “I make it how I make it and they should like it.”

“Okay, but it’s a child. Kats, look at her. She doesn’t want spicy.” Sero grabbed Katsukis arm and turned him towards the table, where a little girl, probably no older than 6, was sitting. Her hair was tied into two pigtails and was wearing a sundress. Katsuki sighed.

“Fuck you.” Katsuki muttered, pulling out a bowl they used for people who had allergies.

“Thank you!” Sero cheered, smiling.

“Get the fuck out of my kitchen, asshole.” Katsuki yelled back, shaking his head. “Man, I want a daughter.” He muttered to himself, closing his eyes and then going back to making the special spice-free dish.

“Ooh, do I hear another baby in your future?” Mina asked from the other side of the dish window.

“Stop eavesdropping.” Katsuki remarked, pushing a dish towards her.

“You know I’m right.” She sang as she grabbed the dish, bringing it out to the dining room.

“Fucking nosey pack.” He muttered to himself.

The time passed quickly, and before he knew it, the door was opening to reveal Izuku. He was pushing a double stroller with the twins and had Inki strapped to his back.

“Break time, Katsuki!” Mina yelled from the dining room, moving over to plant a kiss on Izuku’s cheek. The omega smiled at her and moved the stroller towards the back.

“I have eyes, Mina, don’t kiss my omega before I do!” Katsuki yelled from the kitchen, already stripping himself of his apron.

“I’m gonna get the wrath of the prime alpha.” Mina taunted, laughing with some of the patrons around.

“Hi baby.” Izuku said as Katsuki exited the kitchen, leaning up for a kiss. Katsuki’s shoulders relaxed for the first time since he had gotten to the restaurant that morning. He leaned down and kissed Izuku quickly, then planting a kiss on the top of the babbling toddlers head.

“How has the morning been?” Katsuki asked, leading Izuku to the couch on one wall.

“Oh, busy. Only one set of hands instead of two.” Izuku said, allowing Katsuki to take Inki off of his back before collapsing onto the couch. “Twins didn’t want to be fed, but were screaming because they were hungry. Inki only wanted to be held by me, but I was trying to feed the twins, and he wouldn’t stop screaming.”

Katsuki sighed and sat next to Izuku, wrapping an arm around him, and kissing his cheek. “I’m sorry, ‘Zuku. Wish I could have been there.”

“You know, I was thinking.” Izuku turned to him. “If I’m going to be helping out around here anyways, why don’t I just come into work with you. I can take orders, or cash people out, or help in the kitchen. That way, we can both be here. We can have a little area roped off for the kids. And we can have extra space so other people can leave their kids there too, so they can enjoy a nice meal.”

Katsuki hummed as he listened to Izuku. It sounded like an alright idea, and it would ease his nerves. He also realized he wouldn’t be able to say no to the omega, even if he wanted to, just because of the look he was wearing. His eyes were wide and happy, smile forming even as he rambles, hands grasping Katsuki’s forearm and bouncing slightly up and down excitedly.

“Sounds like a plan, ‘Zuku. Work it in.” He nodded and smiled at Kirishima as he brought their food. Katsuki’s extra spicy, and Izuku’s without the spice. He allowed modifications only for himself and his mate.

It was just how he ran his shop.
