“No, Izuku, lay back down. I got the baby.” Katsuki said, sitting up for the third time that night. One of the twins was screaming his head off in the next room. The alpha planted a kiss on his mate’s forehead and then stood, walking quickly.

They had installed a doorway connecting the rooms so they were separate, but not really.

He opened the door to his children’s room and sighed as he saw Kazue screaming so loud he almost woke Eijiki. It seemed fitting that Inki was named for Izuku, Kazue for Katsuki, and Eijiki for Eijirou, who was so close to the parents he was like their brother. When Katsuki told him of the name, the redhead cried.

Katsuki gently lifted Kazue into his arms, shushing him softly. As soon as he got the boy to calm down, Eijiki started crying as well.

“Not you too, Eiji.” Katsuki muttered, lifting the other twin into his other arm gently. Now rocking both twins, he sighed, and they both slowly calmed. He sat in the rocking chair that was in the corner, moving both of the twins into one arm and rocking them slowly. Little by little, the bright blue eyes of the newborns closed, and they both fell asleep.

He then stood and set both of the twins into their separate cribs, kissing both of their foreheads, then going back into his bedroom with Izuku. He climbed into the bed and wrapped his arms around Izuku from behind, tucking his nose into the back of Izuku’s neck.

“Both asleep?” Izuku asked, leaning back into the warm body behind him.

“Yep, you go back to sleep now, too.” Katsuki whispered, hugging him tightly. “I need three sleeping babies and a sleeping omega to feel at peace.” He teased, pressing a few kisses to Izuku’s neck.

“Okay, okay, overprotective alpha.” Izuku responded, laughing quietly.

Katsuki could tell the moment the omega fell asleep, his breathing evening out and muscles completely relaxing.

It wasn’t long before sun began to filter through the curtains and there were three sets of crying coming from the room next door. Katsuki got up first, throwing on a pair of sweatpants and a shirt. Izuku was still slowly sitting up, yawning and rubbing his eyes. Katsuki walked into the nursery and sighed, crossing his arms as he watched all three babies scream for a moment.

Katsuki lifted Inki first, up onto his shoulder, one arm wrapped around his middle. He then slowly lifted the twins into the other arm, cradling all three babies. He rocked them slowly, easing their cries slowly. He knew they were all hungry, which was why they were crying, but there was nothing he could do about that at this point.

“Kacchan, what did you do? How did you stop them from crying?” Izuku asked from the other room. He turned just as the omega walked into the room. “Oh my god, that’s adorable, wait just one minute.” Izuku pulled out his phone and pointed it at Katsuki. “Smile.” He snapped a few pictures, Katsuki humoring him with a sleepy smile as he did.

“Alright, give me my babies.” He said, gently taking the twins out of Katsuki’s arms and sitting on the rocking chair. Katsuki kissed him on the forehead before walking out with Inki, and heading downstairs.

They had gotten good at their new routine. They switched off at night, if it was time for a feeding, Izuku got up, and if not, Katsuki did. Once morning rolled around, Izuku fed the twins while Katsuki took Inki downstairs, got him his food, and then set to work making breakfast for them both.

It worked really well.

By the time he got down the stairs, most of the pack was already awake. He nodded at them as he carried Inki into the kitchen and sat him in his highchair. The small boy slapped the tray happily, laughing as he did so. Katsuki shook his head and pulled out the homemade baby food from the fridge. He opened the container and got out a small spoon, setting them both in front of Inki. He picked up the spoon and messily ate the food.

Katsuki smiled and turned to the stove, turning it on and prepping it to make some eggs.

“Good morning, Kats. Sleep well?”

“Do any new parents sleep well?” He responded. Kirishima smiled at him and held out a cup of coffee. “Thank you.” Katsuki sighed out, setting the pan on the stove and turning towards his friend, taking the cup and taking a sip.

“How many times did Izuku and the babies wake you last time?”

“Lost count to be honest.” He said, leaning against the counter. “It was a lot. When Eijiki wasn’t crying, Kazue was, and when Kazue wasn’t crying Eijiki was. And if neither of them were crying then Izuku was in pain. And if none of that was happening then I couldn’t fall asleep.”

“Well, we’ll try to give you a break today at some point to sleep.” Kirishima said, patting him on the back. “I’m going to steal the babies from you.”

“Yeah fucking right.” Katsuki rolled his eyes.

The newest development in the bond for Katsuki was that he trusted no one with the babies but himself and Izuku. If one of the pack was holding them, he needed to be right next to them, watching over their shoulder. He didn’t even like leaving Izuku alone with the babies.

“Oh I forgot, you’re being all protective right now.” Kirishima nodded.

“Not like I can help it.” Katsuki responded, setting his mug onto the counter and turning back around to his eggs. Done just how Izuku liked them. “If I don’t act the way I am my prime gets deafeningly loud and it drives me insane.”

“No worries, man. I get it.” Kirishima nodded and smiled at him, moving away to sit at the table.

Izuku came down the stairs at that moment, the twins, now contently babbling, strapped to his chest. He had gotten very good at using the baby swaddle that Uraraka had gotten him to keep both babies on him while keeping his hands open.

“Hi, ‘Zuku.” Katsuki said as he walked in, setting down a plate for his mate. It was full of eggs, some toast, and a mug of sweet coffee.

“Hello, love.” Izuku stood up on his toes and pressed a kiss to Katsuki’s lips, then smiling at the plate of food. “Thank you.”

Katsuki nodded and made his own plate, then dumping spices over his eggs. He sat next to Izuku and dug in immediately, smiling at his mate, who was somehow bouncing to keep the babies happy, eating, and texting pictures to Uraraka.

He really didn’t know how he did it.
