Eda was walking across the university hall, wanting to turn toward the staircase, when someone bumped into her, and she almost got knocked off her feet.

"I'm so sorry." A redhead girl exclaimed, helping her get up. "I didn't hurt you?"

"No, I'm fine." Eda shook her head and smiled at the girl. "But it was close."

"I'm sorry. I've got lost. Do you know where is the administration office?"

"On the first floor. This way up." Eda pointed at the staircase. "I'm just going there so I can show you."

"Thank you." The girl smiled with relief and extended her hand. "By the way, I'm Melek, but everybody calls me Melo."

"Eda, nice to meet you. So, what brings you to the administration office? You're not a student."

Melo frowned with surprise while they were climbing the stairs. "No, I'm not. I just got accepted into IT studies and I'm applying for a scholarship. But how did you know I'm not a student? Do you know everybody here?"

"Sort of." Eda chuckled with a small shrug, "I have a photographic memory. I never forget a face, so I can disting everybody here."

"That's impressive." The girl answered with an apriciating nod. "What are you studying?"

"I'm in the first year of architecture. I just got a call that the internship results I applied for the summer are in and to pick up the contract." Eda stopped under one of the doors. "If you're looking for scholarships and housing, this office is probably your destination. I'm going there." She pointed at the door across.

"Thank you again and good luck." Melo smiled.

"Good luck to you too." Eda returned the smile before pressing on the door handle and going inside.

She was so excited about the internship results that she couldn't wait to find out if she got accepted to her dream architectural firm. She was a bit surprised that the result came so quickly. It was two weeks sooner than she expected, but she wasn't going to complain. Eda crossed her fingers, praying to get a spot at ArtLife, and stopped in front of the desk.

"Eda Yildiz." She said when a middle-aged blonde woman with huge glasses looked at her questionably. "I came for architectural internship results."

The woman rolled on her chair toward a high cabinet with a big drawer and returned after a couple of minutes with a file.

"This is a contract for you to sign and terms of the internship." She tossed Eda documents.

"But this is only Kaan Karadag's company." Eda said, quickly reading the first page. "What about ArtLife?"

"All the other internship results are coming in two weeks. If you want this one, you have to sign it and bring it here by tomorrow or you will lose your slot there."

"Oh." Eda bit her lips with disappointment. "So ArtLife didn't answer yet?"

"Come tomorrow with the signed contract, or wait two weeks." The woman shrugged and looked over Eda's shoulder. "Next!"

Eda took the file and left the office, feeling disappointment spreading in her veins. She sat on one of the chairs, that were standing under the wall, took a pen, and looked at the contract.

"Something wrong? Didn't you get it?" The familiar voice resonated over her head, and when she looked up, she saw Melo.

"No, I got it, but not the one I wanted." She answered with a sad sigh.
