Nomad would've walked around for about an hour or so and would've given some updates on his situation and what he had observed while he was doing his patrol. He would come to yet another four-way intersection and stop in the middle of it and look around for a bit before moving a couple of steps. But after looking to his left real quick, he would see an opening and decided to head over there and see if anything would be there.
Walking about 20 feet or so, he would turn around and look up in the sky since he was having a sudden feeling of being watched. After scanning the sky for around a minute, he would then see something reflect light from the sun, so he moved his index finger to the top of the Ray Band frame and moved his finger to the right so the built-in binoculars would zoom in. After some more zooming, Nomad would see that a tiny drone would be in the sky. However, he couldn't determine if it was looking at him or if it was looking out for something else, but after looking at it for some time, he would zoom his vision back to normal before saying something to the camera.
"Note: I think that I'm being scouted by the locals; however, due to its distance, I cannot determine if it was looking at me or if it was at something else. I will update on the issue later. But I will be activating scrambles from here on out. Nomad out." Nomad would then touch his ray bands again and activate scramble. Now any camera would just see a pixelated mess on his face.
After Nomad activated scramble, his focus would be drawn back to the opening. After walking to the end of the street with the feeling of being watched still present, he would see that there would be a pretty big platform-like circle that was almost flush to the floor. After walking on it for a bit, there would be metal sounds following as Nomad walked on it and then reported. "I just came across a metallic circle of some sort; it's flush with the floor, and it may seem hollow." Nomad would then sling his rifle behind him before kneeling down and wiping away the dust and dirt to show a name.
"Hmm, I wonder what the ark is; perhaps it's something biblical. It wouldn't be the first time that were the case; it kind of reminds me of exoplanet Delta-89012, minus the war-torn city." Nomad would then look around some more before he would find a loose part of the circle. However, when he would move the loose part of the circle, he'd find that it would be a port of some sort, perhaps for maintenance reasons.
Nomad would get a bit closer to the port and grab a part of his assistant apparatus, reals a plug from the bottom of it, and plugs it into the port. Slowly, Nomad would see a massive underground mass that might be of human origin since it was covered in wires made from copper. Copper wasn't entirely used by some races Nomad had encountered, but copper usage would be common in more human-like species. However, before Nomad would see the rest of the city, something would press against the back of his head before hearing
"I'm going to need you to step away from the elevator, mister."
Nomad would slowly pull the plug from his apparatus and put it back into its slot. Then he would stand up before being instructed by the person again.
"Take a couple steps to your left and very slowly face me."
Nomad would do as told, and when he would slowly turn around, he would be met by a man around his height, with four women behind him also aiming their firearms at him. Like the other androids he came across, they were also in their 20s; however, they seem to be more unique modals. But his focus would be brought right back to the man who was in front of him.
