Author's Prologue: Hey hey, these next few chapter's are probably gonna be a bit shorter then normal, my goal for these is to focus more on the building bonds with characters Nomad had come to known. This batch of characters is gonna be around 4 or 5. But Milk is the first since she's the main squeeze and well I set it up in the last chapter, so enjoy it my dudes and I hope that ya'll have been enjoying the story so far.
I don't own Goddess of Victory: Nikke nor any of the characters, they rightfully belong to SHIFT UP Corporation. This story is also entertainment purposes only. Also the pictures are not mine and belongs to their respectful owners. I also claim no ownership of any images or music used in this story
Milk and Nomad would be on the surface taking a stroll through the abandoned suburbs. Nomad would have is 75th Ranger Regiment fatigues with only his backpack, his new M107, and his Five Seven sidearm. While Milk would just have her weapon, Flawless Victory, also a sniper rifle.
Since they had left the elevator the two would've just remained quiet and did a small patrol. But they would eventually veer off and enter a nearby mansion that was slowly disintegrating. Once they two cleared it. they would grab some chairs and head to an open balcony that showed the full moon and the night sky.
Now that they were situated Nomad brought out his guitar and rested it against the railing.
There would be some more silence as the couple would look into the Star filled sky. "Have you talked to your mother yet?" Milk said breaking the long silence.
"No, I was gonna get to it in a bit, just wanted to take in this wonderful view, not to mention think on the future as well." Nomad answered as he would stare at the sky while Milk would look at him.
"What kind of future do you think we'll have?" Milk pondered
Nomad would look at Milk now with a somber look on his face "I was just thinking the same thing. But if things probably aren't great now, I doubt they'll be better if we reclaim the surface." A new silence would fall one the pair once again.
"But I'm more worried about you Nikkes, the hell is gonna happen with ya'll? Given the history of my people, I have a strong feeling that... Well I don't have to tell you what I'm gonna say next"
Milk would've known what Nomad implied, but she would still look at him and ask another question. "What would you do if that were to happen?"
Still keeping eye contact, Nomad would simply put it. "I'll kill anyone that gets in the way of me and my friends freedom, even if it means I'll be going against the entire Ark by myself" Nomad then looked back forward
Milk couldn't make heads or tails if she should feel happy or worried about what he just said. But she did feel reassured that Nomad would fight for her freedom if things were to ever be so bad in the future.
Nomad would grab his guitar and starts to strum away at it for a bit "I love you Milk"> Nomad would suddenly say as he looked over at the girl.
She would look at Nomad with some slight blush on her face. But she'd smile back "I love you too pal and... I'm glad I've met you"
Nomad would smirk slightly "Was that hesitation, or did you wanna add it from the end?" nomad teased slightly
Milk would grunt before punching Nomad's arm "You know how I meant it pal" She would then get a bit closer to Nomad and listened to him play.
After some more strumming, Nomad would stop and just stare into Milk's eyes. "What? what're you looking at?" Milk said a bit flustered as she stared back into his eyes.
