"Alright, plans remain unchanged. However we have confirmed that the signal of Captain Howley's remained the same over the last 12 hours, the captains new codename is now Lucifer, so when we come into contact with him, he's now going by Lucifer." Gluttony explained.

The rest of the squad would be sitting down as Gluttony would explain the operation that the company captain had explained before.

"There is one thing, there's a time distortion anomaly in the solar system so when we head back to earth time it could be months or years that passed by. This wont affect us, but Zeta-3 wanted us to tell you about the anomaly." Gluttony explained further.

"Our launch window is in two hours, so do last minute equipment checks and then head over to your drop pods. Once we hit LZ-Zulu we're to setup a parameter until our heavy equipment and for Desparado squad to make planet fall. So with that let's get ready." Gluttony wrapped up as he would dismiss the squad.

After doing their equipment checks, Damned squad would gather around and pray as a team before heading into their drop pods. "Mic check" Gluttony initiated 

The rest of the squad would sound off with Pride wrapping up with "Check makes seven, we're ready to rock"

Shortly after the mic checks were done, an Operator called Parasocial would appear in the top left of the corner of the squads HUD "Damned team, we're approaching drop zone, planet fall is in ETA 2 mikes. Once you're at the LZ, Desperados should be right behind you with their drop and their heavy equipment too." Parasocial would end her explanation as red lights would start to go off.

"Planet fall is a go!" The doors below Damned squad would open up and shortly after their pods would shoot out of the ship they were once in. Their decent would be mostly filled with the dark void of space for a couple minutes. But as they got closer to the planet, it would be filled with a blue sky for a bit before their entry would cause flames to appear due to their entry speed.

After the flames would die down the entry boosters would suddenly fire off so the drop pods could be brought to a steady speed and after being in the air for another 2 minutes, their pods would crash into the LZ. Their pods would shoot open and Damned squad would be a bit scattered, but not too far away. Shortly after their decent. a thick metal rod would land in the middle of the LZ. The rod would then extend out a good 7 feet into the air and a red light would come from the tip of it every few seconds.
