Chapter 9

Taehyung POV:-
"ARGHH!!!~"

Someone's scream reached my ears.

My head shot up to the sound. It's was hers... She was probably about to fall down from the stairs but somehow composed herself by holding the railing.

"Come down" my deep voice resonated in the dimly lit living room.

She turned around to face us. Slowly taking steps from the stairs she came and stood behind us as we sat on the couch in the living room.

"Stand in front of me" I said again. I could see her flinch by my voice as her shadow fell in front of me.

The guard took the first aid kit and came to us. Jungkook hadn't gotten any injury luckily. I motioned the guard to leave; all while looking at her not soo petite figure in another hoodie of mine. I had expected her to tightly shut her eyes like before while walking but she was looking at the floor, her eyes opened.

"Do you know how to bandage wounds?"

"Ye-a" her voiced came out like a half whisper.

"Yeah" she said again making me and Jungkook look at each other in shock at her sudden change in behaviour.

'She just replied back to us again! This was the first time she replied back.. What's this sudden change in her behaviour? I thought she'll either start crying or just nod her head!' I thought. Quickly ending my thoughts I looked back at her. She was fidgeting with her fingers and not looking at us. At me...

I motioned Jungkook to go upstairs and rest and he immediately went away.

"Come bandage my wounds" My deep voice resonating more, now that it's only the two of us in the room.

Her first step hesitant but the next one swift. She walked beside me and I motioned her to sit. I passed her the first aid kit and she opened it.

I lifted my hand for her to hold and treat but she just took the disinfectant and started treating it while my hand hung mid air.

"Hold it. I can't keep it mid air for soo long" I partly lied. I can hold it like that for a really long time. I and Jungkook trained ourselves like that. Partly lied because as for now I couldn't. I was tired and my whole body was aching a bit.

She slowly reached for my hand with her left one. Her hands, the moment her palm touched the back of my hand I felt something? My heart... Did it skip a beat?

Or was it called butterflies in the stomach?!

My chest heaved up and down with the heavy breathing I did. I managed to calm down myself and maintain my composure.

'What the freaking hell just happened?!!' I questioned myself.

Eunhee POV:-
After bandaging both his hands I got up to leave.

"Did I tell you to leave?" His voice deep, sending chills down my spine everytime he spoke since he entered the mansion again.

I turned around and see him already standing in front of me; close to me.

Infront of me. Close to me..

A LITTLE TOO CLOSE TO ME!!!

His breath faning my face. I tried to take a step back but he caught me by my waist to maintain the distance.

Just when I thought this is the only closeness we are going to have and he probably won't invade my bubble anymore, he took a step front and held me on the same spot.

The way the courage I had built while they were away shattered down when he said..

"Seems like my princess has some courage now. She's become bolder than before "

I stared at him confused, his face void of any emotions other than a spark in his eyes and a mischievous smirk plastered on his face.

"What do u m-mean?" I stutter like before. Clearing the lump in my throat I repeat the word 'mean' again.

The smirk grew wider than before.

"See this thing. I told you. This is what I was talking about." He says smirking.

I look down because the proximity wasn't there anymore. His body pressing against mine and I swear to god I'm sure he felt my heart beating really fast because his smirk kept growing wider and wider. Suddenly he neared his face to mine making me loose my bold composure and shutting my eyes tightly.

He goes near my ear and chuckles at my behaviour probably and says..

"Don't you think u promised something to me a few days ago in the basement?"....

I'm sorry I haven't posted in soo long. It's not like I'm getting any views anymore but still I want to put down my feelings here just like the other authors to feel cheered up and have a convo with my reader (which I don't have right now).

The last chapter was really veryyyyy cringe and I'm sooo sorryyyyy 😭✨

I'll be posting often but I won't in the month of February for sure because of finalssss 🤌😭✨
