~one year before~

"Happy birthday, Pauline!" Astrid call with a huge smile to her daughter. Pauline blew the candles. She turned six.
"What do you wish for?" Astrid took a picture of her daughter and the cake wihle it's still there.
"I wish to meet Dad!" She said happily. Her Mom wasn't happy, but she managed to hide her own sadness.
"I'm so sorry, sweetheart. But I don't know where Dad is. I wished I would know. I'm sorry." A tear rolled down Pauline's cheek, but she wiped it fast away.
"It's okay, Mom. Then I wish you to be happy." Astrid immediately picked her up and spine her in a circle, then she kissed her both cheeks.
"Oh, sweetie. As long as I have you, I'm happy." Pauline giggled.

~two years before~

"Mom!" A scared voice was heard from the bedroom next to Astrid's. She jumped off her bed and ran into her daughter's room.
"Hey. Don't cry. Sweetheart, what happened? What were you dreaming of? You can tell me."
"M-mom...I dreamed I lost you. Like I lost Dad."
"Oh, Pauline. You are never going to lose me. Never. Okay?" The little girl nodded. She hugged Astrid. Pauline cried into her Mom's chest.
"It's okay. Cry it out. I'm here."
"C-can you tell me something about him?" She asked.
"Whom?"
"Dad."
"Um, yeah. Sure. Well, he was always very funny and caring, and he never lost hope in anything. We love each other so much. His kind always made me smile..."

~one year later~

"Hello, boss. How was your little break?" Dragan asked, one of Finn's old friends who was working in the restaurant, too.
"Fine, I guess. Did I miss anything here?"
"No, boss. Otherwise, I would inform you."
"Yeah, I guess you're right. And, please, stop it with the 'boss'. You're my uncle's old friend. This restaurant is as much yours as mine. Am I clear?" Dragan chuckled. He put his hand on his forhead, like a soldier.
"Yes, ma'am!" Astrid started laughing.
"Just say: 'Okay, Astrid.'"
"Okay, Astrid." Dragan chuckled again.
"Dragaaan!" Pauline ran into his arms.
"Hey, little dragon." He hugged her, picked her up and put her on his shoulder.
"I have something for you." With these words, he walked to his bag and took a small stuffed animal. It was a dragon.
"I know your birthday was in December, and now's April, but I hope you'll still like it." He gave her the toy.
"It's so cute! Thank you!" Pauline hugged him again.
"How do you wanna name it?"
"I don't. I think Stormfly is good. What do you think?" She looked at the man. He nodded.
"Yeah. It's cute." Dragan smiled at the little girl.
"What's wrong?" Pauline looked kinda sad.
"I'm wondering how it would be if Dad was here. I really want to meet him finally."

Astrid just stood beside them and thought about her lover.

~present day~

"Oh, Hiccup. Why have you left?" A tear rolled down Astrid's cheek.

A knock on her door took her out of her thoughts.
"Coming!" Astrid went to the door and opened it. When she saw how it was, her eyes widened.
"Hey."
