Narration:

(Stolen valor. Other terms include "fake warriors", "military phonies", "medal cheats", and "military posers.

We've all seen it. It's the label we apply to those derelicts who have never been in the military yet don a uniform to gain attention or an advantage..

It's worse when they're just wearing a battle dress uniform with basically nothing on it and act like they are soldiers.

It's like driving a Crown Vic. Everyone knows now that you're not a cop

To piggyback, Stolen Valor fuckery involves someone who actually was in, but certainly embellishes their Service, particularly for monetary or societal gain.

In some cases, people who lie about having served may be less interested in money than in belonging to an esteemed group.

E.g.

Dude, your wearing a CIB on a MCCUU. You shouldnt even be WEARING your cammies off base. Thats Stolen Valor!

Ima call this guy out, Stolen Valor..

The Stolen Valor coward with the ACU's on with Ranger, sniper, airborne and many other patches that he clearly did not earn was called out by the man who ACTUALLY served in the Army.

(Joseph and Jade, stared at each other for a moment as the office door shut.)

Jade: What did you do this time, mister? (sighs) You could've killed the guy! (face palms)

(pause)

You very clearly know we strictly forbid fighting of any sorts regarding our students.

(Voice Over,

Joseph.

How do I get out of trouble at school?

Method 1 of 3: Acting Your Way Out of Trouble

1. Be confident when you're being questioned.

If you are lying about breaking a rule, don't show that you're nervous.

Keep eye contact with the person you're speaking to. It may be difficult, but they are more likely to believe you if you look them in the eyes while you're telling your story.

Stand up straight. People who are lying unconsciously lean back to get away from the person they're having a conversation with.

Don't stammer or say "um." These are signs that you're nervous and making up what you're going to say. Use strong, clear speech.
