Ch 3: Level P6

The quintet continued to browse the parking garage level that they appeared on, all eyes wandering around the empty area. My eyes kept looking around for any sort of stairway or elevator to get to other floors of the garage. You wanted to know where the rest of the Scouts were. Armin...Mikasa....Falco...where are they?

"Shh! Do you guys...hear that?" Reiner whispered, after hearing a small thud from what sounds like coming from the level above.

Eren looks above and notices a small staircase in the corner of the garage level. Pointing towards the corner, Eren states about the staircase and the rest of you guys head towards that direction. Everything seems to be going well, until more growls appear from a pillar. You let out a small yelp as you notice the zombie that came close to you from that exact pillar. Jean takes a quick reaction and swings his fist at the zombie, punching it so hard that the zombie falls back. Making a loud plop sound, the zombie's corpse splatters on the pavement. You and Reiner look at the downed zombie.

"Yeah... Jean does hit that hard, buddy." Reiner stated at the zombie, slowly shrugging his shoulders before continuing towards the staircase with the others.

Making it to the staircase finally, the five of you take the stairs up to the next level. You notice the floor level was labeled "Level P6", which meant that you guys are now on level 6 of the barricaded parking garage. That means the level you woke up on was Level P5. How was that possible? Who brought you to the 5th level?

Level 6 was a little different than the 5th though. There were vehicles on this level, with busted windows, bumpers popped off, hell even some tires were missing on some of them. From your point of view, there seems to be three cars so far. How many more were there on this level? You had so many questions roaming in your head, but everyone else is just as confused as you are.

"Hello?" Connie yelled across the garage, his voice echoing from corner to corner. "Is there anybody on this level? It's Connie!" You guys continue to keep walking slowly in the garage. Nothing is heard, but you had a sense of some sort of presence of somebody being here. Where are the zombies? Are there any on this level?

"Wait!" Jean shouted, noticing two figures from a pillar that's towards the center of the garage level. "There's people over there. Who is it?"

Getting closer to the figures that's by the pillar, you notice who they were immediately. Same goes for Eren as the two of you ran towards them. Their vision became more clear once they were right in front of you.

"Mikasa! Armin! You guys!" You cried towards them, giving them a hug. "You're okay! I was so worried!" Tears formed in your eyes, one slowly falling down your cheek.

Armin let out a small, nervous laugh as he hugged back. You felt Mikasa's arms wrap around you as well. "I was worried too! I thought I'd never see you guys again." Armin whispered softly.

Mikasa left your arms and smiled at you, before going to Eren and pulling him in a tight embrace. A smile formed on your face as you looked over at the lovers finally reuniting, then you looked back at Armin.

"You have anything to defend yourself with? They didn't take your propellers, did they?" You asked him, looking at where his propellers should be. You noticed he had one on him, but it seemed bent and chipped in many spots. Armin let out a small sigh before speaking.

"Well, I did. Whoever brought us here must've tried to take my weapons because now I can't even take them out for usage. They're like stuck." He attempted to take his propellers out again, but it makes a broken noise then a small click. His propellers are completely unavailable.

Connie takes out one of his propellers and lends it to Armin. They make eye contact with each other, before Connie gives him a nod in approval before Armin accepts the weapon and takes hold of it in his hand.

Jean comes up and rests his hand on Armin's shoulder, "You'll need that propeller. We've been encountering zombies on the floor we were left at. I don't know if there's any here, but we must be prepared just in case." He stated, patting Armin's shoulder before letting go.

"I've killed one so far. There definitely on this level too." Mikasa stated, joining in on the conversation but not leaving Eren's side. Her arm was wrapped around his arm as she looked over at the three of us.

"Shit! I was hoping this level didn't have any of them. But if they're on every floor, then they're on every floor." Reiner spoke, crossing his arms as he appears in thought.

Connie looks at Reiner, then looks over at the empty cars. "Wait guys, what if we take cover in the cars for right now? We need to come up with a plan on how to get the hell out of this place."

Eren hums in approval, "Yeah Connie, we could do that. Are there enough cars for all of us to take some sort of shelter for now?"

"Yeah, there's like six cars on this level. Mikasa and I roamed around and counted the cars. But for safety, nobody should go into a car alone. So how about Connie and Reiner go into one car, Jean and Y/N in one, and..uh" Armin spoke, noticing that there's an odd number of us for there to be two people in each car.

"Armin, you can join us. We need you with us." Mikasa spoke, looking over at Eren then back at Armin nodding. Eren nodded right after her and motioned Armin to come with them.

Once the duos were chosen and split, we all took cover in the broken cars. Jean and I ended up in the 1973 Plymouth Duster. It's a nice car, but it's not very roomy so if we need to sleep in the car, someone will have to be in the front and one in the back. Unless we sleep sitting normally in the car, but that would be so uncomfortable. Well... it is what it is. Now I have to be stuck with Jean every time we come back to this car. Not sure how to feel about this, considering that he doesn't know how I feel about him.

I know it's been years since I've updated this story! Tbh, I kinda forgot I even had this until I came across it one night and I told myself that I should really update this. Of course I wrote this story based off a dream I had, but I will try my best to update it as much as I can. I hardly remember any details in the dream I had. Haha! 

But yay, new chapter finally! I'll be posting a chapter as much as I can. Life's been pretty busy lately with traveling and working so much.
