Jean and I both sat in the car. The steering wheel is missing and there are tears in the seats. The flooring is falling apart and ripped. The interior is slowly rotting, the outside color of the car chipping off. This whole car is just a mess. How long was this car here for? Especially for it being a 70s vehicle. You don't think you've ever seen a vehicle in person before, only in books from school back in your hometown, Shinganshina.

"How do people even drive this thing? This is like something I'd see in the future." Jean spoke, looking at the dashboard of the car. His fingers run against the sticky dashboard, dust slowly flying off. You make a disgust face.

"I've seen these in books back at home. Never would've thought they'd be this... cool looking in person." You stated, letting out a small laugh as your eyes scan across the car. "But yeah, I also wonder how people drive this thing. Everything looks so complicated with all the buttons and knobs."

Jean let out a small laugh and leans back in his seat, looking at the others go to their cars. He noticed Eren and Armin checking out their car, a 1972 Ford Cortina painted in a bright red color. Obviously, the color was chipping off but that didn't stop them from checking it out. Mikasa was already resting in the back seats of the car.

"Seems like the boys like the car that they chose. Eren, that little jerk." Jean whispered softly, resting his hands on his stomach before closing his eyes. You look over at him and noticed how peaceful he looks. You miss when Jean was at peace, even during the war of Paradis which is what you guys just got out of and now you're stuck here. War wasn't over yet.

"Jean..." you begin to speak, "What do you think the plan should be to get out of here?"

He slowly turns his head to look at you, worried. A small sigh left his lips before he could speak. Shoulders slightly rise and go back to resting down after the sigh.

"I'm not sure, Y/N. But I think... we should find everybody else that's here in the garage and make sure we're all armed with something. There's obviously something outside of this garage that's waiting for our escape." He whispered softly, looking around at the other cars that everybody else was in, coming up with their theories on what should be done.

You left out a soft sigh and close your eyes, leaning your head to rest on the back of the seat. A small chill crawled down your spine just from thinking what all this could result in. What if someone is out there waiting for you guys to successfully come out of the garage, only to take you out one by one? Or with a bomb? All this just to die in the end? Tears form in your eyes from the thought, but you didn't let them escape from your puffy eyes. Not with Jean sitting right next to you. The last thing he needs to worry about is you fearing about everything.

"Y/N... Are you okay?" Jean asked, his head turning towards me with a sadden look. His eyebrows furrowed as his eyes screamed worry. Great, now he's worried about me. That's exactly what I wanted for him.....not.

Looking back over to him, my eyes opening, a small smile grows on my lips. He has nothing to worry about if I just paint a smile on my face, right? Let's hope so!

"Yeah, yeah! I'm just worried for us. I hope we can come up with an agreement on what to do here. You know how the Survey Corps can be." I stated, fiddling with my fingers as I spoke more to Jean, "Everybody can become distant once a disagreement comes around and I feel like this is the last place we should have something like that occur."

Jean nodded and let out a sigh before he decided to rest is head on the dashboard of the car. I can tell he is stressed as well. We all are. Nobody wants to be in this situation, stranded in an empty parking garage with corpses coming at you. It's just scary because nobody understands how they got here or what is coming for them. We will get to the bottom of this one way or another.

Without thoughts or hesitation, my hand rests on Jean's arm as I look at him. I could feel the sadden in my face coming but I'm trying to hold it back as much as I can. I've never touched Jean in any way like I am now. The only times I've ever laid a hand on Jean was when I was protecting him from titans, especially from Reiner and Bertholdt. His arm is warm with small goosebumps popping up everywhere. Jean turns his head to look at me, not leaving the dashboard. He let out a small smile and he rests his hand on yours.

"We're gonna be okay, Y/N. I'll make sure you're going to be okay. Nothing is going to happen to anybody here, especially not you." He whispered softly, keeping his eyes on me. Not going to lie, my heart started beating fast and I could feel my skin getting warm just from our eye contact. It's almost as this is an intense look that I'm receiving. I've never gotten this feeling from any other man besides Jean. Of course, I have a crush on the guy, but I didn't think my little crush on him was this big. It's scary actually!

I could feel our fingers slowly intertwine with one another, but it didn't last long because Connie comes up to the car and sticks his head into the car from the broken window.

"Hey lovebirds. Mikasa wants all of us to get back together and discuss what our plan will be. We all must come to an agreement, which you know how that will go." Connie spoke, shrugging his shoulders before he left our car, heading towards the others.

Jean and I looked at each other, our hands back to ourselves once again. I slowly get out of the car as Jean followed me after. When I'm out of the car, I saw the trio setting up blankets on the pavement for our little meeting. I'm just going to hope that we can come to an agreement so we can start on our plan.
